It’s official, Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN notched the highest first week sales numbers of 2017, moving 610,000 equivalent albums, over 100,000 more than Drake’s More Life. This is Kendrick’s third #1 release of his career. Toss Humble’s near chart topping success-debuting at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, the first rap song to do so since Eminem’s 2010 “I’m Not Afraid”-and it’s clear K.Dot can put numbers up all across the board.
