Very good video. I especially liked seeing that DC-8 taxiing by. I am fortunate and old enough to fly on a few DC-8's. They were a great plane to fly on.
Don't expect a full meal service with such a short flight. The full menu is reserved for long-haul flights. In those cases, the crew will offer you welcome drinks, three different main courses to have lunch/dinner, selected wines from South-America, salads, cheeses, desserts, coffee and refill drinks (I've flown tons of times in LATAM's Biz cabin). Great video, thanks for sharing!
I recently had a 3hr30min flight with Latam, early morning, and I had more food than that, also it was a domestic flight. We were offered water (bottled) when boarding, and as breakfast chicken n' veggies sandwich (bigger than the one in the video) , a big chocolate cookie, orange juice and coffee, and I'm sure I could have had a refill but didn't ask. So as you said most probably was because it was a short flight to Punta Cana and the rest of the catering/supplies was for the Santiago flight.
Emil:Puts out absolutely fantastic trip report. Absolutely No One:Surprised. Also, I’d guess that the reason there MAD-FRA flight gets a full meal and this one doesn’t is because of competition. While I’m not sure about Copa’s offerings on PUJ-MIA, I know AA doesn’t give you a hot meal, while on MAD-FRA, both Iberia and Lufthansa would feed you.😸
Excellent video, describes the product perfectly. I found seat a little narrow for my 6'1 270 frame. Was able to fly on their 787-9 JFK-LIM last month and we are scheduled on a 767-300ER with the upgraded cabin next month LIM-MIA.
Every time I see the business class area of the plane it makes me want to sit there for real it looks so comfy I wonder which airlines have business class
Business class are available for almost all traditional airlines or flagship airlines, low cost and ultra low cost airlines does not include business class typically
Ooh la la! Nice to see this route of their 5th Freedom, was gonna fly the Europe one 2 years ago but obviously crap happened LOL! Looking forward to filming from the MIA lounge soon myself. Unblock Michelle please! HAHAHAHA!!!! - Red
@@RbnDanvers Dont count me on it, but i am pretty sure the sid dosent affect the initial climb off too much. The climb angle is what it is needed to achive the speed of v2+10, until you reaxh acceleration altitude. Though this is for airbus, so idk.
The seat looks eerily similar to the new Delta One seats (without the door). Except for the padding, colour scheme. Overall a very solid hard product. As for the soft product… a cold bare sandwich is a poor excuse for a J class meal, even if it’s under 2 hours. In Asia, even short haul economy meals (they actually serve a full hot meal for even sub-1 hour flights in economy) look better than this.
Great video, very well done!!! The new cabin looks great. Unfortunately, its a latin/hispanic carrier with their notorious crews. Dont get me wrong..but pls show me some recent videos about LATAM, Aero Mexico or (worst!) Iberia where you get a really great services from the crews, comparable to QR or EK..or even LH: you wont find many, if at all. Its just a matter of non existing service attitude. BtW, the colour of the seats nicely reminds me of QR..if only the rest would do as well:)) This breakast was appaling btw. All in all: LATAM an airline to avoid
They way you talk about it, it seems like tou have never flown on any of these lol. Flying latam since the begining, never had rude staff. And i have flown qatar q suite, LH and others.
I don't understand why they use the better and more modern business class configuration of 1-2-1 in such short flights and instead the use the old outdated configuration of 2-2-2 in long flights such as Santiago-Auckland and Santiago-Sydney
As a matter of fact I’ve just flown their new business class seats long haul São Paulo to Madrid, had the very same impression about their hard wear, but, their service was poor indeed. Never seen business class without refreshing towels, tablecloth, moisturizer in the toilete, as well as snacks on the galley, and the amount of food you get is ridiculous, nothing to do with European or Asian airlines service, nor American or Delta
