Thank you for sharing your podcast with me! I adore your sheep and all the sweaters you are making are FABULOUS! I truthfully won't be able to check in every episode because of baby life, but I am so happy for your podcast and I just love everything you are making 🥰🥰
Hi Ruth, Thank you for a very interesting podcast. Your Hotel of Bees Shawl is brilliant! You chose the perfect color yarn. I made mine using 3 different colors and wish that I hadn't. I also wish that I had gone down a hook size. The whole project annoyed me because it was too loose. It might be worth making another one in a solid color. I love, love, love the Goldenrod Sweater. And the Genin Sweater looks great already. I agree, a few bobbles go a long way 😄 Claudia has also inspired me to make the Take Two Shawl. I am undecided about the solid color yarn I chose and may mix in some tonals. We'll see. I don't knit or spin but I thoroughly enjoyed your discussion of these projects.
Thank-you so much Carol! It’s interesting how the type and dye of a particular yarn can reflect in a project--I must confess that I saw the very same yarn I used in the Hotel of Bees worked up by another podcaster at the time and thought it was a stunning choice-so I can’t take credit but what do they say, imitation is the greatest form of flattery?😉Crochet is truly my first love-I was crocheting long before I picked up a needle and I have to say that it is my go-to if I just need a mental escape for a while. Thank-you again for your lovely comments and for watching!❤️
I love you right back ;) Can't wait to see the progress on your Take Two Shawl with the colours you've chosen! Also, thank you for the shoutout :) Now, the question is... are we going to see a little happy dance from you too once it's going to be finished? A Lindy Hop maybe? Smiles and hides away...
