Went to Tillamook Bay during last week of August hoping for an early season crab, but seems to be a bit early for good haul. Still managed to get some dinner and a rockfish.
Cool video! Right on for getting the greenhorns into crabbing, it’s a great time for sure… keep ‘em all soft or hard I see, I do the same especially if it’s only a handful but not too too soft.
Great video! I’m thinking of getting this exact boat, would you know the distance between the front bench seat and the middle spilt bench seats? Reason I’m asking, I have a bait tank that has a foot print on 24in x 24in…and I’m wanting to know if it’ll fit in the floor area. You’re one of only like 2 or 3 videos that I’ve actually got to see this boat on. Thanks for your help!!!

Did not see you checking any "keepers" for hardness indicating whether or not the crab were worth keeping. Sure they might be large enough, but if not hard enough, they might not be very full of meat.
