While June, July and August would be the preferred months to chase lake trout on Flathead Lake, sometimes you go fishing....when you can actually find the time to go fishing.
Such a fun day with some co-workers as we joined Capt. Matt McComb of Mo Fisch Charters via Big Sky Fishing Charters.
Watch as Capt. Matt works hard to put us on fish during the fall spawn on what would be his last open water trip of the year. No giants to be had, but above normal catch rates for our 5 hour trip provided lots of action. The lake and scenery were amazing and I promise you, iFish Chronicles will be back for a trip during the summer months one day.
Capt. Matt also guides during the ice season and all I can say is he is highly recommended by iFish. He's a top-notch professional guide.
