Craig is so, SO smart---but, he turned me off when he got to doin' sex jokes, like, every other joke!! My mother used to say that if you cussed, it was because you didn't have the intelligence to use the proper word, and I think that's similar to people who do so many sex jokes! Sex jokes are a cheap shot---they're too easy---and I know Craig is waaaay more intelligent than that; he bummed me out!!
I respectfully disagree. I do hope you consider the following... Some people feel like they are just words. Craig has mentioned before how arbitrary “cuss” words are. Where he's from the words fanny and bastard are really bad curse words! Yet fanny doesn't mean anything negative in America. People are even named Fanny! Bastard isn’t even “bleeped” on TV in the States. British call cigarettes fags yet it's a derogatory word in the States. I feel like they're just words and arbitrary. I do think it's important to know your audience though. As an Army brat and Air Force veteran, I grew up throwing those words around! As I've gotten older, I realize it's offensive to some people. So I don't throw around words that I know or am unsure of in front of certain company. Until these words are normalized I try to be polite and walk on eggshells. 😌 I don't think it makes someone unintelligent to say those words. Sometimes those are just the best words for the sentence. 🙂 And another example, in this episode he shows a picture of the statue of David by Michaelangelo. David is nude. It's just a statue that anyone can Google or see in a museum. It's not raunchy. It's classic art. It's completely arbitrary (when comparing to other regions) how nudity and cussing are censored. Lastly, I think Craig really enjoys pushing the envelope. For example, in earlier days of the show, having his mouth pixelated and now throwing international flags over his mouth when he says “dirty" words. @@leesakat : I think that, no. 1, what I said in my OP, was just a casual comment about what my mother told me, as a little kid, to teach me not to cuss, and to always be a lady, and that it didn't require that book of a response you posted, presumably, to teach me how cussing is just arbitrary words. No.2, I was more interested in conveying my feelings about being so sick and tired of people going for the sex joke, and being too lazy, to try and come up with something more creative.

I understand that 100%. ❤️ I certainly didn't mean to be bossy. I too was sharing my own experience. I tried to say in my own experience. I was careful not to point any fingers by saying people should do this or people should feel this way. I was just sharing my experience, much like you were. 😊 I hope you don't find the rest of Craig's shows too raunchy! Because they get way worse! 😂 And again thanks for the reply!
