I’ll say on here publicly exactly what I told my children after I cried, Thanked God, cried some more for the incident HERO that lost his life protecting his family, and then emotions went on repeat for a while. “Yes, I’m mad! I’m furious! I’m heartbroken, and I’m a little scared! It would not have mattered what political figure had been on that stage, I’d still be just as mad had it been “The other side!” Why, because there’s no room EVER for violence in politics! None! Do I support Trump? Yes, yes I do! HOWEVER, no one should be “offed” for their political opinions! Be proud of your political views! Stand for what you believe in by all means! But you never (especially at this level) bring violence into politics! Also, if someone can get that close (and I swear even though it hurts my soul to say this since one man died just because he was there supporting his beliefs with his family; but he died a true hero) God saved President Trump! As a paramedic and nurse, I can tell you that was millimeters short of us having a completely different conversation! MILLIMETERS!) But back to my point. If someone can get that close to almost “offing” A PRESIDENT (former or not,) we’re all sitting ducks! That’s why now MORE THAN EVER we must stand together; even if we don’t agree with everything politically! TOGETHER WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL!” This was more than just one very confused and sick kid! You can’t tell me otherwise! He was so young; he’d never voted before I bet unless he voted for state or county figures. So I don’t care what the “registered” part was. He looked to be a very lost kid and probably pretty easy to convince. He was not alone; I can’t think that this kid (before he could even legally purchase a pew pew, let alone have the skill to set up properly, army crawl into position, use a scope and have an almost perfect shot (had Trump not turned his head PERFECTLY) and he was alone on this? No special training? No, no way! I’m a country girl! We have to protect our farm animals. I’ve learned how to get a coyote without ever even leaving my bedroom if they are on that side of the farm. However, I couldn’t have made that…not that I would have ever even thought about trying as that’s evil. But I couldn’t have lined that up that well under that type of pressure! So, if they (whoever made this kid go way over the top) can get someone to do this to a President, none of us are safe! That’s so scary to think of! Now, more than ever we need to link arms and maybe not agree on everything…But agree that we can’t stand to be this divided! If not, who’s next? Think on that! God Bless President Trump!
