I respect Vice for this- too often New Zealand is portrayed as if it is as important as a single city, and purely as a rural place. This shows our amazing cities and awesome culture within them.
The cultural ignorance is real here. I was talking to this white girl recently and she joked that i had drugs on me, said i was different because i studied and thought i was from america 😑 yeahhh, this is a real life convo too, so no internet trolling just straight to my face lol. So no surprise her saying that in the video lol
It's Jess B she does not give a fuck. She also probably knows the waiter who may be hispanic. As she said in the beginning, it's Auckland and super multicultural and diverse. Just because it's an Italian restaurant she's not going to say arrivederci to everyone in the joint.
Little Turkish Cafe shown towards the beginning is excellent. My wife and I used to live right around the corner from it on Pitt St and it was easily our top late night spot I'd say. Close second being the Turkish Shawarma place off Queen St and Rutland across the street from Aotea Square. Definitely miss living in the CBD
Lil Abners in Papatoetoe, Stay Noodle House in Papakura, Selera Cafe in Newmarket, Canton Cafe in Kingsland, Barilla Dumpling in Balmoral. Any of the above would have killed it!
Ollie's in Onehunga for the best milkshakes and ice creams. And the Chinese bakery in Mangere Bridge for the freshest pies, bread, pork buns, and sausage rolls !!!! 10 out 10 rated 👍
@@rameka1303 nahhhh g steak and cheese from hong kong is game changer ,night out of drinking stop mangere bridge grab a bakery feed and hot chips then go to the wharf and mucnh haha whats the gi one though? ill check it when im back in the hood.
The White Lady, early 2000s. Go to a party then immediately after get a feed. Dad would pick me up only to drive straight there to get us both a feed. White Lady is the GOAT.
The pork belly and tiramisu at coco's cantina is good as fuck. Need to do more clips about NZ food. Like kiss kiss, love exposure, blue breeze inn, wood packer hill, go go daddy, saan, paradise, satya chai lounge
summertime is lovely because you can swim pretty much anywhere and go where ever but the winters can be quite cold and wet. everyone who comes here in the summer says its the best holiday they've ever had. strongly recommend checking out the Able Tasman, Fiordland, Queenstown and Rotorua. it's pretty small but I suggest spending a decent amount of time checking out both islands.
COCO'S CANTINA oh good, a nice place to get a shot of tequila and some tacos.......or SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALLS lol. Next I'm going to "Mama Mia's" for some sushi.
It always strike me on series like Chef's Night Out or this one, the host goes to like 3-4 restaurants, orders tonnes of food, and still manage to continue to go on to eat till the end. I hope the camera crew and production gets a some too
Yeah, probably. I was born in Texas, but when people say where I'm from, I say California, cause that's where I live. People when asked where they are from, will usually tell them where they currently live.
