This was a great video, but some of these guys were very reckless, especially that ford on your right on the roundabout. Would have taken your front end off had you not been prepared.

@@jayfujiwara9740 I restored it mate, took it back to metal and built it from there so it was nice. But with it being 20,plus years old it doesn't feel the most solid car. My old 2003 STI felt solid so you could launch it everywhere, go fast over any bumps potholes grass etc the evo wants nice flat tarmac otherwise it felt like your abusing it, plus it sounded meh generic inline 4 rubbish. Turbo made some nice noises though. Scooby on the other hand sounded mint from idle to160mph. There is a reason, scoobies genuinely have much higheer mileage than evos and its because scoobies are much more fun and enjoyable car. The only thing that stud out on the evo was round bends, at 9/10 or over it was sick AF in the lanes! Left you buzzing! But literally how often are you in the lanes smashing your car through them? 30mins a week? Scooby was a beast in the lanes, sounded a beast just pottering through town, make awesome turbo noises, looked smart, felt solid and planted every second. If I, hadn't owned a scooby I probably would of been an evo fan boy but mehh. Btw I've owned VXRs, S3, focus ST, 500 abarth, GTIs 330d manual, 335d, rover turbos, etc etc. All good examples.. The scooby was the most enjoyable, there is a reason, every fucker had them 10 years ago.
@@ryanevans8559 so I'm getting the impression that it's about preference? I kinda like the evo sound more because it doesn't sound like a misfiring engine everywhere, and it isn't as noisy. I'd say that after all these years and after how many people took their evo's off the road, that it must not be that bad to the point where it'd choose " nice flat tarmac" over what it was meant to do lmao😂.

That gearbox or transfer case doesn't sound too heathy it's either low on transmission fluid or the casing is cracked at the bearings, and allowing the gears to have play, and it doesn't help it by doing pulls and doughnuts, but hey at the end of the day it's your car, I'm not the one that's going to a heavy repair bill for new drivetrain when it goes 😂
I can't believe man like Ricky is using the tunnels I use everyday to drive to and from work I murder them tunnels in a5 straight pipe sounds beauty in tunnels love swinging the left in tunnel too.

If you rev bomb like that in Portugal in a tunnel within earshot of the police, the tunnel is getting closed and you're lucky to leave with just a ticket.
@@Onlyfoolsandcourses. some small mods wouldnt hurt 400bhp in one of these are savage, my old evo 6 rsx was 390bhp on standard turbo and was stupid quick against cars that where running big power.
