Saw this last night and loved it!! I immediately wanted to see it again!! I thought David Dastmalchian did a fantastic job, and it was nice seeing him in a lead role. I agree wholeheartedly with your review!
I also woke up the next morning thinking about it! I loved it so much. It was so immersive, I felt like I was in that studio audience. It is creepy from beginning to end. And I for one found the ending to be very satisfying (though I could have used at least one more answer than the film gave us). Best surprise in a while, and I think my favorite film of 2024 so far. I agree with your rating of 5/5 couches! It’s probably a 9/10 for me 😃
Just watched it on Shudder. Let me start off with saying it hit the 70s vibe perfectly and was overall entertaining. Keep in mind that all I say is my opinion and if this is your new fav horror film then that’s great but for me it just didn’t seal it. I know it’s been touched on but the AI effects ruined it and to be honest I had this film figured out before I even watched it. SPOILER ALERT! Even after seeing trailers about how he is struggling for ratings and then seeing clips of his wife sick it automatically popped in my head that she was a sacrifice for that then in the beginning of the film it confirmed him being involved with the elite Hollywood cult…..BINGO! Was it a fun ride? Yes indeed and I would recommend giving it a watch! Would I take my own time to watch it again by myself and not with a friend who hasn’t seen it…..probably not.
agree with the rating... ppl keep bashing this with the AI issue which as a graphic designer i understand but come on you cant discredit the whole movie over this. I would be upset and seek compensation..... but is not like this was an animated feature that used all my artwork for the full length film.....
Wow, 5 out of 5. Was not expecting that. Not into horror, but do like mysterious things. Just saw the listing in up coming movies. Might check it out especially with this positive review.

Indie horror always hits like nothing else. I love that there are finally some good movies starting to make it into theatres. Looks like it'll be one hell of a season this year. I'm especially looking forward to Longlegs. Their marketing strategy alone has me very excited for what they have in store.

This is the 1ST review that gives this movie the accolades that it truly deserves, if I hear one more "movie review" saying that the movie was great, but, for a fraction, of a fraction of a second, there was use of AI, Like the walked out of the theater as soon as the AI popped up. David Dasmalchians has a brilliant interview online talking about the AI, and how a majority of the people involved in the making of this masterpiece, had no idea it was even used.
5/5!! I think it’s my favorite of the year. They really nailed the talk show circuit. The ending got a little confusing but yes, I got it. There was also a moment where I thought the skeptic was the devil. Kept me guessing.
I saw the movie today and I absolutely loved it. I went to an early matinee to avoid the cell phone users. I found the script witty and funny and the horror was first rate. The behind the scene happenings during the commercial breaks was superbly done. A cinematic delight.
Wow I’m going to have to watch this it’s getting great reviews. Neither This nor loves lies bleeding is playing at my theatre and it really bums me out.
It was a picture, people are tripping. Remember when people were upset that CGI was replacing real stunts, efx, etc. those same people are bitching about an AI image. Hypocrites.
