QB - Lamar (2019)/Watson (2018) RB - JT (2020)/Aaron Jones (2019) WR - Kupp (2021) / Diggs (2020) Also James Robinson rookie year These are some I remember that helped me win leagues
I was in a league where returns count, and I was playing WR Miles Austin of the Cowboys as a flex because he was returning kicks, and due to injuries in his first starting role they decided to play him and he ended up with 219 yards receiving and still handled some kicks. I blasted my league that year.
As a Redskins fan, I watched pretty much every game of Antonio Gibsons pro career, he is not a bad running back at all! The fumbles were the narrative, it wasn't the amount of fumbles though, it was the timing of them. Super early in games that swung momentum, red zone, and key late game situations.. then Rivera would bench him for quarters at a time and he'd lose touches then. As long as the don't bench him over any fumble, he'll put up points. I'll be drafting him in late rounds all day.
2001, I drafted Faulk in rd 1, traded for Shaun Alexander, and drafted Priest Holmes in rd 14. After week 3, when I did the trade, I just sat back and waited to collect my money. I destroyed my league that year.
Loved the video,Great information Jake! Im a Homer one of the chargers running backs gotta hit this year I thought it would be their x receiver before the draft but then going alt then Ladd changed my mind. I usually land a sleeper a year best ones probably Josh Gordon2013, Geno and fields 2 years back and Puka last year
Always enjoy the sleeper show. Like picking the long shot on a horse race and either big bucks or a drop to the waiver wire. Thanks Jake. I feel like the headliners gets us so prepared for the draft that I run out of picks and there are still players i want. Thanks Jake
I feel i have the best TE tangent on my dynasty league, LaPorta, Mcbride and now sinnot, crazy part nvr drafted either of them, was able to grab every single 1 on waivers or F/A. Thoughts. Love the content kyle and jake.
Jake you’re absolutely right. There’s a lot of fake out there. But I know something that’s real…THE HEADLINERS DROP BANGERS!!! This video is no different. Leagues aren’t won with the known, it boils down to hitting on late picks. Your analysis of Edwards is Picasso. I love the spot for him, but, the rookie will likely be a factor. His tape is solid. Thank you again Jake, Kyle, and Headliner Nation. KEEP BANGING💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Kareem hunt for Kc , I remember first game against New England (think it was first game of that year ) 2 tds 250 total yards. It was before he beat up that girl so it was awesome. Good job Hareem Kunt, have fun on the browns
I drafted Kamara in the last round of my draft his rookie season. 3 weeks into the season I needed roster space, so I had to drop him. About 2 weeks later, he had his breakout game.
2014 I drafted Peyton manning first round and 2nd went Antonio Brown after someone sniped Jordy Nelson from me( who was a third rounder) and 3rd went Leveon Bell (who was a 5th rounder) and Greg Olsen 5th (who was a 7th rounder) went QB 1st but helps when you had #1 RB, WR, and TE. Team won it all
Terry McLaurin, I don't remember his ADP his rookie year but I remember in my league I got him with my last pick. He did well for me for a couple years! Lol haven't finished the video yet but I'm sure it's gonna be a Banger! 💪🤣
Josh gordon his rookie year, he was gold. Cleveland went through 3 quarterbacks that year but it made no difference. Gordon was a monster and league winner
I was a Puka believer during the pre draft process so ended up with a buuuunch of Puka in most my leagues. First time that’s ever happen for sure. Oh also Karen Williams and Jerome Ford, those dudes actually won me a some money
I didn't draft this guy but I traded mahomes to the guy in last place for Tannehill and some RB in like 2019 whenever Tannehill had a crazy stretch to end the season. I think he actually outscored Mahomes too. Helped me win my ship 🚢
My Sleeper of all time has got to be DeAngelo Williams 2008. It was week 5 and he had Zero TDs. I remember trying to trade him to my Buddy for Braylon Edwards. Thankfully he said No because the next 12 games Williams Ripped off 20 TDs leading me to Fantasy Glory !
Hey guys, I have 2 sleepers that worked out for me. 1st one came in 2010 with Michael Vick. The year he replaced Kolb. And the 2nd.. Ironically Nick Foles in 2013. Those 2 moves landed me my 1st 2 championships back when I was playing fantasy football on yahoo leagues 😂😂 I don't even know if yahoo still do fantasy football... I appreciate you guys
2023 Nico Collins. Nobody had him on their radar at all. Grabbed him in the 12th round and balled out. Jake and Kyle told me to, so… I did! And Trey McBride off waivers so I could trade Jahmyr Gibbs and Hockenson for CMC.
Love the content I watch like every video I agree with everything you said I don’t have much more to say I’m commenting because I want to win the free guide lol I have no points to add I drafted last year so I guess that was the sleeper hit on
I drafted Mike Evan’s in the 9th rd. Everyone was suspect with Baker Mayfield throwing the ball. Boom totally worked out in my favour help me with my Fantasy.
Think n 21 got Kupp n 5th & Deebo n 7th and all year they battled for the #1 Wr and they led me to a 1 loss season along with CMC,Mixon,Saquan & Najee.
Agree with everything except Antonio Gibson. He’s going to be the backup again, but in an even worse offense. I’d rather have Corum or Chase Young at that ADP bc at least they have huge upside in those offenses as handcuffs.
Got 2nd place in both leagues years ago. Then had stafford kupp year 2022 Burrow chase diggs ekeler and dell last year. Traded puka for waller. Bout worst case of 2nd half disasters as you can get. And had Mccaffery in 2020 and 2021 before that.
I would have to say, Keaton Mitchell help me out a bit, but years ago, in my home league I got Mahomes in the 18th round. And he took me all the way to the Championship!
Jonnu is fool's gold in my opinion. The Dolphins have a great offense that simply doesn't target their TE's. They only had like 50 targets to the TE's last year, and that might even go down now that they have OBJ manning WR3 duties.
Also assuming they all stay healthy.... And if they weren't going to use him.... Why bring him in, just keep Smythe and repeat what you did last year I think they know they need to be a more balanced passing offense and can't rely solely on Hill in their gameplan
@@TheFantasyHeadliners Jonnu is getting $1.2M guaranteed, which tells me he is almost certainly an afterthought on that offense. McDaniels had a great pass catching TE in Geisicki when he took over the Phins. And he went from 73rec and 780yds in '21 all the way down to 32recs and 362yds with McDaniels calling plays in '22 in the same number of games. Hard pass... For my money, there isn't a better breakout/sleeper TE this offseason than Colby Parkinson. He's a fantastic receiver going to a good offense with a good QB and the oft injured Higbee coming off a late ACL tear.
Drafted Lamar Jackson his rookie year… also had Alvin Kamara and Saquon Barkley as keepers, and drafted Derrick Henry, Alvin Kamara and drafted New England’s def… historically good year lol
Comment for contest. Also let’s go Big Mike. This is your season ! I had a terrible draft last season but some random hits on mostert and Leporta carried me until 3rd place. If I would have nabbed Puka, I would have gotten it for sure. Hopefully I can hit this year. I was planning to gamble on Pitts, Chubb (if he’s healthy), and whichever KC receiver I can draft the latest this year. I’m also currently not buying in on Steeler even though I like their players. I can’t stand the OC.
