Threw three trail cameras up on a mile long scrape line coming out of a remote swamp. Surprising late and post season activity. The licking branch is EVERYTHING.
Not exciting to see all the pigs. But the licking branches are similar to mine in WI. And visited all year long as well as the does visit them too. Great to see the behavior in your swamp land.
Man I really enjoy your videos and I’m trying to learn from you. I started putting cameras out in Maurepas Swamp WMA and I’m having zero luck getting deer. Where do you concentrate on putting your camera? I’ve been putting mine on the edge of the swamp on the high ground. What do you suggest? I have never hunted the swamp. This will be my first time.
The most remote part of the area will be where the older deer will be during hunting season. Within the swamp itself are subtle ridges that may be identified by vegetation changes. So thick and remote near or on subtle ridges. Good Luck. May take a couple years to figure things out.👍👍
