Isn't the whole deal with flags is that they're symbolic, not literal. The rainbow already represents all colours, it doesn't need to fill out the whole SRGB colour space to represent everyone.
I love how they show technology that could teach a person a college degree in an hour, and they are are like "We could PUNISH PEOPLE WITH IT!" People are trash.

How does making a criminal live 1000 years in their mind make them learn from their mistake? They'd literally go insane and probably go murdering or ending themselves
where are the thousand years supposed to be spent? alone in the darkness? in a simulated prison with other prisoners who are also in the mind prison? either way, no rehabilitation, just 100% crazy when it ends.

When that guy started going on about how people don't wanna give up eating meat and we can use human engineering to solve that problem. I thought he was gonna talk about lab-created synthetic meat. I would have never have guess he'd be like "I think we should just force a food intolerance onto people without their consent, that's an option!" Like, I am all for making it so we no longer have to eat animals but not at the expensive of.... giving people allergies on purpose??? Idk I just don't think saving animals should come at the expense of hurting people but maybe I'm just wacky!
Exactly, I'm okay with the vegan movement by itself. But it's not a good thing hurt people (Including old people, children and pregnant women) to stop animals suffering.

Blackrock is also part of the ESG scoring system, which allows it to control basically company that wants access to low interest loans. For instance, Exxon is one of the top 10 highest rated ESG compliant organizations, but Tesla has a worse "environmental" score because of something to do with free speech and online platforms. It's extremely dystopian.
NO, dystopian is Obama signing C.I.S.A. into law and the main stream news media sweeping it under the rug so no one knows about it since they align with his political party, if Bush had taken away our privacy rights there literally would have been rioting by the leftist with the media promoting the story as heroic people fighting back against a fascist dictator.

"Go ahead, marry your cousin it's not that bad for your kids." From a genetic stand-point you might dodge any complications for one generation. However a few generations do this and it becomes very, very problematic for the children. Groups that practice first cousin marriage have a massive disparity in the national average for a host of disabilities compared to those with more genetic diversity. Recessive traits are no joke.

realistically speaking it probably wouldnt be all that horrific, even assuming dinosaurs somehow escaped they likely wouldn't be able to get very far in the modern wild since most wildlife is way too fast for dinosaurs to catch so they'd either starve or inevitably be hunted and killed by humans. if dinosaurs managed to get into the wild they'd probably be hunted into extinction again in like 3 weeks because of how crazy people would get about wanting to kill them, most of the destruction would probably be hunters shooting eachother to try and pick up their own dinosaur kill lol

The weird thing is that her politics are actually pretty typical for her demographic, and although she can be a bit bombastic in her critiques of the rich, powerful, and stupid, she is pretty moderate in her opinions, if not in her artistic expression of those opinions. Shoe basically seems to believe in individual rights, non-discrimination, and a strong welfare state, so she's just a typical '80s-style liberal for the most part. As for her comedy, personality, editing skills, writing, etc., I think that's what sets her apart, but in a good way. She has put out some extremely high-quality productions, so maybe she is a quality extremist, and that's why the media decided to portray her as an "extremist leftist."

I’m more and more convinced it’s not that scientists haven’t watched/read any dystopian science fiction… but that they’ve read it all, and just thought “Wow. Neat.” and then put in a grant study request to the NSA.
You do realize that a single horror study is not even a case study for the efficacy of the tangentially-related concepts that science can make real, right? I would also venture of guess he's never looked into any of the MIT LSD studies, the Stafford prison experiment, the Murray Interrogation experiments, or even something basic like the WWII German and Japanese medical studies featuring Jewish and Chinese human test subjects (respectively) far enough to gain an appreciation for the fact that science can (and often does) venture into the horribly, horribly unethical and downright terrifying. Often times the desire for increased knowledge outweighs conscious respect for humanity inside of the class of people who dedicate their entire lives to their studies...
