I'm a little late, this was two years ago, but gonna comment anyway. You are so much fun to watch! My son is a youtuber and I know what goes into shooting these videos. Especially having to set up the camera, do your bouquets, take the camera with you to the shop...a whole lot of work!! And you're always so energized!! Thank you for taking us a long as you do your thing. The bouquests are all so gorgeous. Just makes us all happy to watch you. Plus you're freaking funny!!

Nicole, one of a kind bouquets (like you're doing,) should be considered an art form and a unique way of connecting personally, one on one with your customers. I sell oil paintings for a living and the fact that each one is the only one and unique, makes for a special bond with each buyer. In their choosing a unique piece, they are completing its story by adding their own memories and personal preference. So too, do designers solidify both their clients & reputations by one of a kind pieces. Exult in it! Enjoy it! Your bouquet buyers are completing the circle & the story of what you & nature have created by co-creating with you, choosing & buying that one of a kind bouquet to bring home and be part of their life!

Always so much fun to watch bouquets be put together. So glad that you're able to sell to these local stores. Here in Louisiana, stores have to have a special license to sell flowers even if they didn't make the bouquet. 🙄

25:05 I am getting married in six weeks (mid-October) and our florals are burgundy, scarlett, and marigold using dahlias as the focal with tree branches and dried grasses, and other flowers, too! It has the same vibe as your September wedding

This sounds a little silly, but when I get dahlias whose petals are loose like that, I put the petals in my salads! They act just like baby spinach, and I’m way happier eating a rainbow salad than a green one 😍

I was directing you which flowers to add to bouquets. I guess you couldn't hear me. I would love to see a white-dominant bouquet with some of those pretty celosia, maybe some pink zinnias. Hey! I harvested my first dahlia bloom. I was on the phone with my brother so couldn't use a pruners to cut it properly. He told me when he worked (recently retired) a fellow mechanic would bring in buckets of dahlias to share with them. Aww! Guys like flowers, too. 🥰

I wish I had the loot, I'd send Axl a gift to help him "sweep the porch"..We got a small Dewalt leaf blower and it's perfect for small jobs like blowing dirt away after potting or blowing leaves and petals off the porch. The larger heavy duty version is better for blowing leaves in the yard through grass but the small version is great for the smaller jobs.

Hi Nicole, you mentioned about there are some special things with Euphorbia. Could you share more about how to harvest it, and if it needs any special care after cut to stop the sap? Super thanks! I started some "mountain snow" seeds this year, and I want to make sure I handle them the right way.

Pay attention to how your flowers are doing with the weather fluctuations now that high heat is coming closer to an end. Some of my plants get a second wind and start performing their best. Penstemon is one of those plants for me. If I know that it does well in the Fall then it will be great in mid-late Spring also.
