I was going to support Argentina if they won against the Netherlands (I'm biased, I'm from the Netherlands). Unfortunately Argentina showed poor sportsmanship which imo lead to unfortunate events unfolding from both sides. I believe Argentina deserved 2 red cards which the referee didn't give. Therefore I believe the ref was biased as well. Tl;dr I can't support Argentina like this, so I guess I'm rooting for Croatia now.

However, the ref did the following: - Not award Argentina the ball for the foul on Messi that made him give advantage (which should have happened, under normal circumstances) - Award Netherlands the ball (which should not have happened, under normal circumstances since no advantage was gained by Argentina, on the play) - Not give Messi a yellow (which is understandably confusing, because he'd just handled the ball) Messi's logic seems to have been "stop the play, so that Argentina get the ball, since there was no advantage" The referee's logic seems to have been "No Messi, you just can't do it that way. I'm giving the ball to Netherlands." Conclusion: The referee was an idiot again, as he showed during the entire match.
