Hi, it was a nice surprise finding your channel. I also own a rekord c and plan to do some mods so I would appreciate if you could answer a couple of questions. Did you get the v8 working? Which rear axle did you end up using? Do you perhaps know which grille, headlights, seats and steering wheel did latela put in? I couldn't find the info online. Does you have power steering? Hey there! The V8 is fitted, however still need to make the transmission mount and firewall, been on-hold due to the side projects! The rear axle is from a mid-80's Monte Carlo, currently unfitted (currently is still the standard axle). Latela made the grill, it appears to be steel tubing, welded in the middle, and bolts on at either side. Latela used Golf lights I believe, I replaced them with 7" halo RGB LED lights, not sure about the seats or steering wheel, no power steering but am considering it!

Nice video! Ive done a v8 swap in a rekord c couple years ago. You're going to offset the engine to the right quiet a bit to clear the steeringbox, and cut a bit off the sump at the rear for steering rod.
