Katanka cars are Chinese Foday CKD kits. Imported without paying tax. Go look at the Google Earth image of the Katanka factory, and compare it with other car assemblers or manufacturers in Africa. Here is the Google Earth location of the Volkswagen plant in Uitenhage. Complete with railway lines, paved roads, power lines, and test tracks. Where is the Katanka factory in Ghana?

Our business men don’t want to lose at the beginning and win big at the end, I hardly even see Ghanaian celebrities or public servants use this cars. In fact I’ve never set my eyes on one yet. Marketing is key they have to dish out as many as they can afford to people in lime light for free both Ghana and abroad, offered as loans to public servants

they need to focus on African continent first. If they sell this in the western nations it will fail. Black Americans used to have their own car brand many many years ago, but it didn't succeed mostly because they are living in a white's man country. If the Ghanaian manufacturer exports these vehicles to the West and the United States, I bet they would apply heavy tariffs and customs regulations to keep African auto manufacturers out of their markets. Also, the Europeans and the Japanese auto manufacturers will muscle in their dollars to block them out. That is why Black Folks should support their own and always buy Black.

Kantanka vehicles are assembled in Ghana from knock-down kits supplied by a Chinese firm, possibly Foday via Chongqing Big Science & Technology. So, while the assembly happens in Ghana, components come from China - so kantaka is just putting his signage on the car.

i support ghana and kantanka but unfortunately these cars are brought from china and branded kantanka. they were not made in ghana....... we can all go to the so called factory to see
