Yes, it is very frustrating to have non treatment 😕 Non even 60 year young and have to black dots in my right eye. I will love to be in a clinical trial 😌
Thank you for this extremely informative presentation. I would be grateful if you would kindly provide a point of contact so that I may inquire into opportunities for my 85-year old mother to participate in clinical trials. Thank you.
Thank you indeed for the video. , May I tell you that 4wks ago I could see from my right eye but overnight I developed a degree of sudden vision loss. It was quite dark at first but within a week everything went wavy, I can't see my own face or family members from the right eye. I booked with an optition whom said I have cataracts in both eyes but not to worry about that as after tests, he said it is macular oedema which as a patient of theirs, did not show a year or so earlier. I told him it happened 6-9 days previous and he was puzzled as to how I pinpointed same. He asked me if I had suffered stress lately and I said, Sir, I cannot tell you just how bad things have been since May 2021. I was seen at eye infirmary and they say its AMD, I am 68 years old. , My notes confirm, No previous ocular history. Sir, may I ask you how it can be age related when, as I have learnt, that there has never been a early/intermediate stage and often it says the person is informed during routine eye tests. The stress I have been forced to endure have made me feel suicidal, I have contacted a crisis team now..., I just cannot accept that its age related overnight. Can you please advise Sir.
