I spend my Summers not far from Ruidoso and the best thing about that area is the people. Warm, kind and honest, they are some of the nicest people I've ever known. It is so sad to see this happening. My prayers are with them all.
We're getting lots of info about how people are coming together and how much damage there *has been*, but very little actual data. Where is the fire perimiter? Which direction are they moving? In what areas is it least contained? Where are the *maps*? We need less feel-good pieces and more facts and data on the status of the fire right now.
@@MrCheaterpipethe actual wildfire forecasters & investigators have made it clear we are seeing increasing more fires, bigger fires, & they are happening more often. The miss management of the forest is no secret it just increased the dangers as they happen. Both things can be & are true.
@@chinookvalleyThat’s a very simplistic response. Climate has never stopped changing. Fires are a natural force that regenerates the eco system because it rids the forest of diseases, opens spaces for new fauna that animals thrive on. Saddly, it doesn’t account for people living in these areas. But democrats allied with certain environmentalist inhibits the thinning & cleaning of forested areas.
People burned but trees didn’t. While we are having monsoons the Unmarked globalization planes are spraying above those natural rain clouds. You should see the natural rain clouds were going as low to mountains trying to avoid the cloud seeding poison. This is war against our Nation it truly is. I pray it’s all I can do.but there is power when we all pray amen.
It’s been hotter than blazes over here before the fires, with next to no rain. We live in Cruces & between the wind & the heat, we are prisoners to our homes w AC.
I followed the Lahaina fire closely because my of my own relationships with Hawaii & their people. I feel that they were beyond suspicious. I don’t see the connection in Ruidoso & I live near there now. Our family had several members that were Hotshots. RIP: Angel Torres that just passed.
She’s our Governor and doing the best that she can. What is it that you want her to do ,ore than she’s already doing? It’s not her fault this happened it’s all on the persons that caused this fire. So lay off our governor and talk about your own. Us New Mexico people don’t need anyone’s stupid comments about who’s talking just give us prayers, that’s all we ask we’re not asking to knock anyone down for what they are trying to do.
Praying for the families in NM. Was stationed in alamogordo in the Air Force and loved traveling around the small towns, fond memories of the folks in Ruidoso.
May God protect and bless the people of Rudioso, Utah is praying for all who have been affected by these raging out of control wildfires, and may god protect the firefighters on the front lines trying to protect homes and businesses
Believe me, it hits home to thousands of people across the Untried States that have been through such wildfires. Maui and Paradise, CA are prime examples of loss. People feel your pain. Had a friend who didn't make it out of a wildfire, they found him dead in his car. He waited too long to evacuate.

Yesterday that area had Severe Thunderstorms pass through the areas already burned. There was catastrophic flooding and baseball sized hail. (source KOB-TV4 and KOAT Weather)
Only to partisan hacks who are trying to divide the country make those comments. Your comment has nothing to do with this horrendous fire that is still an ongoing threat to that region.
Absolutely there is no excuse this much fuel has been allowed to build up for so long it was only a matter of time before this kind of thing was going to happen also the houses in ruidoso are built on top of each other I'm really shocked they're only saying 1400 structures I fully expect that number to grow substantially as the smoke clears and there's a proper assessment of damages
@chonkyb3134, I live in a mountainous area in New Mexico. The forest service has been clearing tons and tons of Acres of trees and selling the best Lumber to China for their fuel needs. In so-called Private Sales. The local residents were offered permits for firewood when there was really no firewood to be had except for scrap. The forest workers Left Behind what they call slag everywhere in huge piles and covering the ground everywhere it's a Tinderbox waiting to be burned just like calf Canyon and Hermits Peak a couple years ago. And increasingly more often they perform prescribed Burns during the windiest seasons of the year. At the same time the skies are striped with chemicals coming from jets. The chemicals fall to the ground and those chemicals are heavy metals Etc which are incendiary. When cars burn and the wheels of the car's melt and the trees above them still have green upon them it is not a natural fire. How do you explain the fact that we've only seen two firefighters in all of these videos and all the channels no fire trucks just two guys and they're not suppressing fires or anything they're not even using equipment they're just picking stuff up and moving it around like they're on TV playing the part. there's no fire trucks! tons of cops now they won't let anyone go home because of flash flooding might kill them! what the hell is that when a fire is 0% contained??
But in Hawaii fire, you wouldn’t tell us of one Hawaii family that got burned in their car. You wouldn’t show us the dead bodies laying across the ground that were burned up but yet you’ll run right to the camera and tell people that Mexicans died burned up I want to hear about the families who got burned up.
