TRAGIC! Did not need to happen! Stop ALL Domestic Tourists driving in Goa. Instead make them take Taxis and keep Goans safe!!! Also help Goan economy and put money in pockets of Goans. It will reduce cheap Tourists who bring no value to Goa except more congestion in Goa. This forces International tourists with money to actually want to return to come to Goa as it is not so crowded. We are a very small State. We have a CARRYING LIMIT!!! Too many damn Outsiders in Goa, causing deaths and misery in Goa. But the dumb government is too foolish. They will not do it!! I urge all Goans to please for a CARRYING LIMIT for Goa. Only allow a few cars into Goa every day. And no rent-a-car service for Domestic Tourists unless they are living In Goa for more than 1 month. It will stop all the CHEAP tourists coming to Goa and creating a nuisance for everyone living in Goa. It will stop the deaths of Goans. It will stop traffic congestion. Emergency vehicles will also be able to pass through. It will reduce pollution with less cars sitting in traffic. It will be a WIN-WIN situation for Goa. Please, lets fight and demand for this to happen!!! We can save lives. We can increase the quality of life for everyone living in Goa. Less pollution means better health for everyone. It will increase International tourists to Goa as they wil find Goa is a better place and they will return. They are the ones that bring money into Goa. Please lets fight for this!
The person driving the rent a car should be made to pay 50 lakh rupees to the Victim if the victim is found deceased. Also the person who was driving the car should be made to pay for all the expenses in the life rescue operation. His licencse should be suspended for life and he should be given imprisionment for 20 years and Permanent Ban from state of Goa Tadippar.
Almost all rent a cars overspeeding on goan roads. Pls ban rent a cars system and save our goan's life. They don't follow the traffic rules. Most of the accidents take place because of their reckless driving.
what kind of reporting is this... he is telling you that they are tracing the body and you are asking him stupid question whether it is of the person who fell in yesterday. At least listen to what he is saying...
Traffic cell is taking this for granted unless it happens to their own ..then they will wake up .. Pray and hope for the best ..May he rest in peace ..from where is he ..what's his name ..no documents found ?
Sad part is that no political party is trying to ban rent a car cause all wants to keep thier vote banks safe, otherwise any minor issue politicians from different parties will be there including banning of Goa miles or other app based taxi services. If local people drives the tourist vehicles, 2/3rd of Goas accidents fatality rate will reduce. Remember politics is politics
God forbid dying in an accident in Goa there is no proper equipments or other rescue procedures to save life. So much time is wasted by the authorities esp the cops who are clueless. All they are good at is giving challans to helmet less drivers they dont bother to look into drunken driving or rash driving. Our BJP only interested in holding events not saving goan lives. Has any Bjp ministers talked about solving this accident problems, making the roads safe and taking stringent actions against the perpetrators.
