The akwa Ibom international worship center is a 32 billion naira worship center located in Uyo which is the capital city of akwa Ibom state
The international worship centre was constructed by Julius Berger on a land measuring 5000 hectares
The project have a sitting capacity of 5000 with a library, main auditorium, conference with other standard facilities
This centre is expected to be the pivot of all religious activities inside and outside the state

Development is a gradual process, Rome or Jerusalem wasn't build by day. AKWA IBOMITES should not skip terms and conditions. They should be happy they have padt leaders who mean we'll for them. The state is the fastest growing state in Nigeria 🇳🇬. The only thing remaining in Akwa ibom is the seaport. Government does not build industries but they create and enabling environment for investors to thrive

@@Theyoh u think a state.can just wake up and build a seaport without federal and international sponsors. U guys should wake up. As for me tinubu being president akwa ibom can't get the seaport cos it will kill lagos seaport. Tell ur uncle akpabio to expedite it so it can come to fruition. Lagos alone has wharf, tincan, lekki now they want to build badagry for a state that is congested with small.roads

i think this is a beautiful project but the architectural design looks like an airplane, the whites have a design for what a church should look like so that you can immediately tell from a distance that this is a church.

@@tessycheersit is absolutely beautiful. I love beautiful architecture, but $35 million dollars for a church in one of the poorest countries in the world? Do you really think God wants this.

That project is laudable but it needs conference standard chairs, not benches. In addition to the worship center should be created empowerment facilities for youths, women and the physically challenged in various areas of skills acquisition.

Poverty, unemployment and lack of education drove me from my beloved State, Akwa Ibom to Lagos for close to 24yrs now with no hope in sight, but my State govt is wasting resources on a needles worship centre. Even God in heaven will be angry over this wastage of resources that should've been used to better the lots of the people. God dwells, not in the temples built by man, but in our hearts. If they tell you how much has been stolen by govt officials from this project, you'll marvel. God have mercy!

Young man stop waiting for jobs from your state government. Thank God you are based in Lagos. Can you specify industries or companies established in Lagos for its citizens? Everything you see in Lagos are establishment of individuals. In the year 2009 after my tertiary educations, I started a business with a thousand and five hundred Naira only. It was at Ragi Oba street where winners chapel situated. I seized the opportunity of the large flock of people who were there for church services. I would go to Surulere to buy reprinted books to sell. From displaying on the ground, I moved into a kiosk , then to a shop. Today, to the glory of God, we have diversified into printing and publications; real estate, manufacturing, and production. Our products such as sachet water, bottle water and dispensable water are very visible and doing well in the market. To the glory of God, our staff strength is almost 2000. We are breaking new grounds because we didn't wait for government provide jobs for us. We created jobs for ourselves.

G@@AdebamboYinka God bless you my brother for this life touching message. I am a model too in this regard. May it be a lesson for indolents waiting for government to create jobs for them and invite them to come from wherever they are to come and work. Every now and then government and private sectors are creating jobs in the State and people are working. Even the previous government and the current Government have created a lot of jobs over here and people are working. I wonder whether the Governor must go and look for him in Lagos and bring him to the State and then fix him in office before he will know that government is creating jobs.

For 24 yrs you have still remained wretched even in Lagos you ran to. Why can't Lagos where they don't waste money to build ICWC enrich you? That means you will ever remain wretched unless you change this type mindset you have. May God continue to bless Akwa Ibom.

There's no amount that is too much to build an alter of worship to the Creator of the universe. We are grateful to God that the Worship Centre is here in Akwa Ibom State. I pray for more resources for it's completion. Even in developed countries, poverty and lack of infrastructure have levels.
