The best thing DWTS did recently has been getting Pasha & Daniella on board. They brought that much needed fresh choreo and competitiveness to the show. All the other pros don't even try and recycle the same choreo from previous seasons. Compared to Strictly come dancing (UK version), DWTS is like the Walmart version. The level on Strictly is light years ahead.

Dancing salsa to me is so liberating and extremely amazing when you have a partner that matches your energy...they did fantastic 😊

Well, I may again be a fan of DWTS. Today was the first episode I've watched since 2020 and it was entertaining again. I used to watch the show religiously, missing perhaps 2 episodes in a decade, but I digress. I mean I was turned off by the voting drama that was purely a popularity contest that required zero dancing skill but the last straw was Tyra Banks. Tom Bergeron and Samantha Harris had the best chemistry and it went down hill with Erin Andrews and off a cliff with Tyra Banks. I was pleasantly surprised with Alfonso and Julianne Hough hosting the show. Alfonso has a delightful personality and I was very surprised by Julianne, she has always been very well spoken and intelligent but I felt that she came across a little too chatty as a judge. It was always like she was trying to pack a lecture into a six second comment, however having said that I think Julianne has found her niche as a co-host of the show. I loved her and Alfonso, and I loved the show, and I believe I will be back again to watch next week.
