Oh no, I'm sorry. I admire you for having the self-control to let it go for your health. That's great for you :) My RU-vid friend "Mexican Made Meatless" has a lot of those guilty-pleasure recipes but made healthy if you ever need a great recipe. Go check her out :)
I am Puerto Rican and I been waiting for this movie seen I saw the trailer. One necausr of the all Latino cast. Now, I want to see the Spanish version. Because this movie was the best movie I seen this year. And it feature one of my idols El Santo.
I'm glad! Can't wait to hear what you thought of it! Thank you! It was just things I have around my house all year long :) I love Dia de los Muertos and calaveras.
I've always had my list of favorite Pixar films, but this was the first one to truly capture me. It was just gorgeous. And it is, in my opinion, the most immersive Pixar film to date. And I love immersive stories. I've visited Mexico a couple of times (and not the tourist areas, either), but clearly I've only barely scratched the surface of Mexican culture. Coco showed me just how much I haven't yet explored in Mexico. Also, Héctor is the most in need of a hug Disney character EVER. Seriously, Unkrich is like the Joss Whedon of Pixar.
I'm happy to hear that it inspired you to learn more about Mexico and its Culture. :D The movie was beautiful I agree which is why I cried more than once. I loved how they captured and respected our culture. Thanks for commenting! Hope to see you around. :)
The matriarch of the family, because she took heartbreak and made it success, she saved her family and even tho I think she was a little harsh I can see how she did it for the good of her love ones
The weird thing is, everyone keeps saying how funny the movie was, no one was laughing at the theaters but my family!.. however, I did hear a lot of sniffles coming from different directions.. I think the humor is only catch by Spanish speaking people, 😕
Yeah, I can definitely see that. I'm just happy that all types of people, old or young, Latino or non-Latino have enjoyed the movie. I hope this makes Disney realize that they need to make more movies about Latino culture. Cough, cough - we need a real Latina princess movie :)
Happy to say most of my family and I are about to watch this movie. 25 of us to be exact 😎 Update: wow... such a great and emotional film. I cried like a baby but it was cool because everyone else was too.
I LOVE LOVE LOVED your review!!!! And I loved the movie. It was so accurate too! We are in San Antonio, Texas and our city has a huge celebration for Dia de los muertos. After we saw the movie I spent the rest of my evening making homemade tamales with my teenagers and the other youth from our church. It was the best Sunday I’ve had in a really long time! ❤️❤️ Thank you both for your review!!!
Thank you so much for watching! We would love to go to San Antonio someday! The riverwalk looks amazing. Ooooo that sounded like a great time! Much love to your family
Yes It’s the climb! 🏔 Fall down 20 times you get up 21 - Just gotta keep on keeping on. 🙌🏻✊🏻Just glad to see an upload again! Going to forsure take a Kleenex box because I’m a big llorona!!
SubCulture Recall last time I went to the movies with my mom we went to see bambi!!! I was a kid I just asked her after this review if she would go do that (she can't sit for too long) but she said YES!!!!
I'm Caucasian and I've never been able to leave the United States (my family has been here for generations, and before that we were in England, Poland, France, and Scandinavia, so we're not exactly ethnically diverse. It's a shame but it's true). I love seeing Latinas, especially Mexicanas, review Coco, because I know that even though I adore it more than I can express, I'm still missing some of the finer details. Every time I watch I pick up on something new. Unrelated, but both of your hair looked so pretty in this video!
