0:50 lmao I remember how my mom wouldn't let me eat meat alone and would be like " se debe que comer con tortilla" so I grew up thinking that eating meat with nothing else was bad 😭😂
If that door us just slightly closed furbabies will follow in "ah here you are mom", pet me!!! Ni en el bano puedo estar en paz sean chamocos o perros !!!
that one with wearing jeans and immediately being asked if you're going out is so true. it's always sweatpants or something else comfortable. Jeans are for the outside jajajaja
I sympathize with those kids. After finally convincing my mom that it's time to go, she agrees and says alright we are "leaving" somehow we are still in hours process of the goodbye tour.....
7:45 reminds me of when my mom always tells me " doesn't matter if you already have hair or an adult youll always be my baby chiflado " but in Spanish 😂
I've only been to 1 Rosca de Reyes and that bread dipped in the hot chocolate was one of the best pan dulces I've ever had 😅 I was praying that I didn't get one of the little dolls though 👀
I literally thought Lucy was between my and my older sisters age and then she said she has a whole 30 year old son. Okay Lucy I see you with your graceful aging!
We live in the northern outskirts of Mexico City. Very few people actually walk on the sidewalks because they are awful. They just walk down the road. And not in single file where cars could easily pass by them. Nope! They've got to walk in a line across the road. Definitely makes driving more interesting. 😜 🤣
I'm Mexican & I totally agree about the tortillas. I do use the rice paper & radish paper to make lil tacos or lettuce wraps but there's nothing like fresh tortillas. Luckily I live in L.A so we have a Korean markets that sell the meats for Korean BBQ & we have a Korean BBQ grill/hot pot combo at home so we make it at home sometimes & are able to have tortillas
I remember one time I lived on the top floor of the apartment where me and my mother stayed in, and in the year 2007 or 2008, I was playing with my DS some game, I think I was addicted to transformers at the time, and I borrowed the game from the downstairs neighbour only as I was playing when my mother and his mother were visiting outside in front of their door, I had accidentally deleted the save progress somehow, and so it took me five hours to complete the entire game on a rush, and by the time I was done, and I had returned the game to the neighbours kid, THEY WERE STILL TALKING, still standing there right in front of the neighbours door.
I can relate to all of these! but my mom would put my birth certificate inside a bag on the top part of the wardrobe and forget where she placed it and blame me for losing it lol (I don't get why some people say Brazilians aren't latinos when we can relate to all of that and we are in latin america, we just don't speak Spanish)
I took tons of breakfast tacos on the bus for my youth group as an adult. My mom always packed food for trips. My dad told us that we don't stop until the gas tank was empty; so we'd watch the potty meter to make sure we'd last till the pit stop! 😂
I'm in jalisco right now ( I'm pretty sure xochitl said that's where she's from) and in the plaza in the town I'm in has the same sidewalks and it's so annoying lmao
I laughed so hard over the documents under the bed😀our rabbit ate our marriage licence...try explaining that to officials. Luckily I still had a few scraps😀😀
My family when we get the baby Jesus we never once made or bought tamales we just go hooray and would make it a competition to who would get the baby Jesus.
I legitimately almost tripped on the sidewalks and nearly landed in front of a moving car in El Salvador, like why Latin America be doing the sidewalks like that?😂
It would be nice if my mom was a part of this. She's mexican, but not super Mexican. She doesn't show it so much. At least in my opinion. You look at her and only think of her as someone who is just a Latina who stayed in America for too long and haven't had any interactions with her people (actually that part is true. She don't have any family near by and are all in mexico.) But once you get to know her, you see that she truly is mexican. She's just very chill and calm and sweet. She's not exactly the strong agressive sounding woman.
Im the only one that thinks Xochitl is pretty attractive for her Age and Lucy is just pure Sugar I would love to see some Pics of both when they were younger
The last one fit my mom tp a "T". As a matter of fact I'm surprised I'm alive today, considering how much my mom loves to talk. That's why I learned to cook for myself, otherwise I'd have starved to death years ago.
lunch Time . get the stamp . go parking lot . huddle or stit in car while mom passes out/makes d food . go back to the amuzment park n enjoy d rest of the day 😅
