A video I put together in my editing class at Santa Barbara City College, with interviews from Latino actors and a director, such as Danny Trejo, at the Nalip Media Summit

I’ll cast a Latino to play Violator, my favorite Image Comics villain. John Leguzme who played him in the 1997 live action movie is Colombian

@@Enriquez520 I'm in ........I'm am inexpensive actor looking for work, I'll take water and banana chips for payment as long as I'm working within the passionate ambient! Lol (Jokes aside I will take those 2 items as payment for acting) 😉 Cheers

Well telenovelas themselves are based on a lot stereotypes(before it starts you already who the characters are) and ain’t exclusive either have you ever seen Afro-Latinos as the main interest in novellas films & series, do ya include Americans in your movies? But ya out preaching what you ain’t practicing. Stop it.

We need producers that reflect that vision. I tried to get into the writers room and it’s very segregated and sexist. The secret is to develop and support out own projects. Teach camera skills in high schools get out people into the union. And show that Latinos have the financial literacy to staff, write and finance our own projects and also let people realize we have the clout to do so. The Hollywood machine is a very bland space. Producers make the movie so we need producers who sees as a serious product and not caricature.

Latinos basically have no Talent that's just how it is it didn't you people do all the discriminating I seen your soapbox you don't even give dark-skinned indigenous groups any chance on the screen at all if you're a black and Latin America's you're at the bottom getting no rules at all except as a servant and then you people got the nerve to come over here and complain when you were some of the most racist groups of people in the world go to hell

This is very true. Filly Brown should have been more widely distributed.

Wow I didn't know that Me and Earl and the Dying Girl was directly by a latino, that's great, loved the film.
