7:20 "There's no way he has that range in real life" Well, well, well XD FYI the vocalist uses vocoder to get that "effect heavy" voice cuz the band labels their music as "electroniccore" And from my own experience, I've seen them live 2 months ago, and even without vocoder, the vocalist has super loud and high pitched voice. The guy can definitely sing without the vocoder (there are videos on RU-vid as well)

4:30 you're onto something Wales, they tend to do this or even if something in real life is bad too for example the most ridiculous and funny Naruto shippuden ending even it's animation too was made that way coz it timed with the Tsunami back then, even though most new listeners find it weird coz it's too preppy .

5:00 Hope you two do a video covering Stereopony, they were the band that really got me into Japanese rock as they were an all female group who had a relatively short career due to the singer needing surgery for her throat/vocal cords i believe and they split up but the last concert they did they brought in YUI, another one of my favorite singers who also did music for Bleach, and they performed together. Im still so sad their career ended so soon but i listen to their music to this day

openings are to get you hyped and excited and show a bit of preview for the season or focus on a character's journey, endings are to dance away the pain or stew in the sadness while giving us deep ass lyrics about one of the character's inner feelings. I think I like endings because they have more variety in genres, at their best they can reach the same energy as openings and they can also be emotionally sentimental or melancholic or groovy, at their worst, they're kinda boring (but sometimes you need that after an intense episode).

Yes for the Jujutsu Kaisen S1 ending. I never skipped that when I was watching. For me, ending that needs to be included, Fushigi Yuugi, Bleach (Life is a Boat), Flame of Recca (picture frames, hashiru hashiru), Slam Dunk, Samurai X 2nd ending, Full Metal Alchemist (not Brotherhood)- can't remember which one. Happy 1M subs!!!

I hope you react to more anime endings! These barely scratch the surface! Two I recommend are "Red:Birthmark" by Aina the End (Gundam: The Witch From Mercury Ending 2), and "Nai Nai" by Reona (Shadow House Ending 1)

Funny thing... I got into K-Drama and also widened my K-pop selection because of a anime ending song. I was watching Blue Exorcist and the ending song was by 2PM performing in Japanese. I then looked them up and at the time Dream High had also come out and I then watched Boys Over Flowers and added from there. But in the Anime credits the shows characters are seen in billboards doing a dance, and come to find out it is the dance that 2PM does for the song. Also the ending song for Venus versus Virus "Shijun no Zankoku" vocals: Yousei Teikoku is another really good ending.

Endings are underrated. Too many good ones to even list, like these 100 only scratch the surface. If I had to pick one to say that gave me chills its 100% Evangelion's Fly Me To The Moon. Just over the course of the series it is played differently. One you have to listen to for each episode.

you should checkout the discography of Official Hige Dandism. They are immensely talented japanese band and have done some anime openings too but their albums are much better

Hunter x Hunter ending songs personally for me are better than the opening. But granted I'm more into jrock and ballad with harmonies than pop-y type of songs. I think you both will definitely find Minori Chihara's vocals very interesting. Her voice is very interesting because her speaking/voice acting voice is also different from her singing voice so if you like her vocal colour, Waleska, then I suggest checking more of her! 👀 Also JJK and Chainsaw Man are about youkai/demons which are mythical monsters/legends in Japan. They love making supernatural stories (personally love them). So yeah, they're supposed to be weird! So if you like ghosts and stuff anything to do with the underworld, anime/manga/video games has a lot of them coz Japanese people are very spiritual.

Jojo Bizarre Adventures have the best tracks for me, very catchy. I wish they put the ending of Black Clover: “Hana ga Saku Michi - The Charm Park” Sasuke and Sakura(with the pink hair) married and have a daughter named Sarada Naruto married Hinata(with dark blue hair with white eyes) and have 2 children: Boruto(son) and Himawari(daughter)
