Kailash kher's voice is unmatched in especially devotional songs. He did not even train under any 'guru' so i like to think his voice for devotion is coming from god's gift itself❣

And then there's a channel armonian. Oh man the level of music they have is so quality and much ahead of it's time. They are underrated. Listen to armonians worship of mahadev song of 10 mins. It is spiritual to the core and the classical singing is insane. And sone more songs of armonian have group of classical singers creating amazing stuff.
Sonu nigam feels like the boss player who has completed all the main quests and now intentionally makes the side quests more tougher by introducing variations😂

Well, the thing is music doesn't necessarily mean showcasing full vocal capabilities, rather Indian music focuses more on minute details to create moods across a whole song. Western music always approaches for a climax part where there is belting, key changes and long hold notes.
To me Shreya Goshal and Sonu Nigam are the female and male versions of vocal perfection. You know not like the type of music or songs. But you can't deny their mastery. Same with Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan as good looking people. You might not be into them, but you can't deny they are freaking beautiful
There was no point of mentioning beauty part tf. When we are talking about singers and their skills. They are much more tough to acquire and valuable than beauty let's be honest.
Sonu nigam sir has natural echo 'Khanak' in his voice that no one has that is why most of the time in close room he sounds even more better than studio version IMO : When one tries to sing his songs like him your chest is more involved than your vocal chord..
I vaguely remember there was a performance Sonu Nigam did on an award show where he sang like different singers different songs like a medley and it was awesome...i hope someone can give the only to you guys so you can react to it
Kailash kher has such earthy, natural voice texture. Its just so pure. How he has reached this stage of life and story of what he has been through is inspiring.
Sonu Nigam is an extremely good looking guy. He has a beautiful voice. And he is the top singer of the country. He can even dance. And has acted too. He could have easily been the biggest star of the nation. Like a proper pop star, like how you guys have them in the west. But sadly, bollywood likes to keep the music industry under its thumb, even though its the music that primarily makes the bollywood movies more appealing. Half the films won't even have worked had the music not been good. Then there are labels who like to play God. There is less of music, art and cinema and more of copying, corruption, nepotism and what not. It's really bad. Thus, talents like Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal, Shaan did not rise to the actual level of stardom they deserve. Like with the talent they have they should have been big time superstars. No doubt they are loved and are at the top of their game. But they deserve so much more, like way way way more than they have gotten so far.
All these singers has to sing wherever they goes.. I mean if you get to meet likes of KK, sonu, shaan or kailash kher face to face, who would let them go without hearing two lines (a whole paragraph) from them live.. ?? 😂 I love sonu's live performances and acapella the most.. Kailash is unmatchable when it comes to power of voice.. His voice and the lyrics of his almost all songs directly touch the deepest part of heart.. Would love you to react on "piya ghar aavenge" Of kailash kher.. KK is the childhood, the teenage of us.. Any song of his and the nostalgia begun.. As a kid Pal and Tu aashiqui hai song of his.. (The song where they perform in a church and you don't know what's even happening there " Sonu is just phenomenal.. He is the first voice I started recognizing as a singer along with shaan.. Before that it was just the hero's face that I could relate with the song..
Exactly what I feel the West and world has always turned a blind eye to india in every department just because of their bias. Only now are they opening up. So dont be sad it's them who are close minded not us. We are very open. Just wait for it. Once one of our singers go there and do good work they'll go crazy like they did during rrr. Maybe arijit would be perfect for it

So well said !👏 The more I know about music ,the more I listen to international music for that matter whether it's western pop ,kpop my respect for Indian musicals only goes higher ! 😭 It's not because I am Indian ,it's because the music really has so much variety here , the unadulterated rooted music, real locations , unmatched vocals of our playback singers , which btw is beautifully emoted by our actors ! It's crazy ,they act ,they dance ,they emote ! But anyways I still hopeful one day Indian music gets the respect & recognition it truly deserves!😭💓

What I am really proud of Indian celebs is that almost of all of them are still very grounded and constantly putting efforts to do better and help others. Kailash ji song "Toota toota ek parinda" is one of my fav songs of all time.

When you r listening to kailash kher also listen to Sukhvinder Singh. KK' s demise was sad unexpected the struggle he had with the Indian song industry with Abhjeet B was great wanted to hear him miss him Covid took away a lot of players big guns God's act cannot complaint. How great was kishoreda or Mohd. Rafi but overall India to fall in love with a voice like Yesudas ( Gori Tera gaav bada pyaara ) he had a studio in USA patenting 9th sur. You guys are getting all wrong. Techniques etc are not(not definitively) for indian singers. They are trained over the years to sing pitch perfect. And training is an understatement for these singers it's devotion for them and singing is a way of life not some performance. And there are no different techniques for Acapella, stage singing, studio recording or someone pulls them up on stage(like salim did to sonu nigam) it's just singing for them and they're always ready to sing because it's not something else for them it's just the life, singing: a way of life. Their hand gestures(while singing) show the note journey and they have been trained for this since childhood.
