The Batak languages are a subgroup of the Austronesian languages spoken by the Batak people in the Indonesian province of North Sumatra and surrounding areas. Judika and many Indonesian singers have Batak ethnicity. The second song they sang also in Batak language, as Javanese people who live in Sundanese area in Bandung, and I speak both languages, I don't understand the lyrics even one word hehehehe...

Like Judika, Lyodra etc Many Competition Singer in Indonesia, the Winner is from Batak.. I am not Bataknese, but javanese.. but i admit it that many of them have a good sounds.. They didn’t make it to the big 15. They messed up in their next round of audition. It is actually common among Batak singers that they do so great singing Batak song but they couldn’t do as good with Indonesian or English songs. I don’t know why but I see this pattern. Especially if they have been spending a lot of time as Batak singers who perform at weddings, events or cafes. And yes they are actually receiving money in that second video, it’s called ”sawer” literally means giving cash to singers or performers when you like their performance and it is common here in Indonesia.
