Wow Bugoy man! I was hesitant to watch his version as I was completely floored by the original especially the live version - so much grit. But Bugoy really did justice in this version with its reggae flavor plus his flawless soulful runs. Great reaction again guys! Continuing to be my favorite music reactors ❤

Bugoy is so cool and humble talented guy. He's so good singing live. I saw him already a couple of times especially when our company has a special occasion. the title of this song is literally translated as "moon" & it's basically a somewhat romantic broken-hearted maybe drunk tantrum verging into lunacy shouting sweet nothings under the yellow moon wanting to be with his loveone feeling so alone, for me its a songwriting masterpiece a piece of art...

It took a while for him to be recognize tbh. He ddnt even win the competition he started at, I believe he was only a finalist. But I’m so glad he’s been getting recognized now because he is indeed a very talented and versatile artist. He also knows how to portray a story just from his voice and not everyone can do that.

"Buwan" is supposed to be a lonely song but Bugoy's rendition adds a fantastic twist to it. In its original version, it's almost like "Noviembre Sin Ti" by Reik. You can check out the lyrics of "Buwan", so you can appreciate it more :) Thanks for your reaction! Love it!!

The Song Buwan by Juan Karlos Labajo was the big hit in the Philippines in 2018. Even the premier singers had their version of this song.JK was a former Finalist in the Voice Kids Philippines same year with Darren Espanto. Darren was the first Runner up of that batch and they used to be bestfriends at that time. Buwan literally means MOON.

this song is an anthem here in ph back then like everyone knows this song and a lot of covers out there and being sung in karaokes may it be at home or in malls or just in public or just being sung randomly in our daily lives. up til now you can hear this song being played everywhere every now and then. kudos to juan karlos for the addicting melody and amazing lyrics. his artistry brings back that old OPM vibe and the lyrics always gets me. he's underrated here but i still hope he gets recognized globally. his art and his music deserves the world

Love your commentaries. I recently discovered Bugoy, Daryl Ong, and Morissette. I can't get enough of the music I'm discovering via RU-vid! I am an English teacher but have always had a love affair with music. I regret not studying music instead!!! To be sure, the Philippines have always been on my list of places to visit. when this song released (by the original singer juan carlos) it waited a few years before it trends..but man, goodness its really sound good, it gives goosebumps,chills, and yeah, for me this is one of my comfort song 😍..its music video is also has its story.. and there's this "buwan challenge" that you have to hit its high note and trends also (the song buwan and the challenge) in some parts of the asia.. This song, Buwan, became a HUGE hit in the Philippines as well as in parts of south east Asia and some other continents. The original version has such a vibe that you guys can appreciate, you guys should react to the music video! It's titled Buwan by Juan Karlos. Note the music video might need some interpretation, I suggest you read the translated lyrics beforehand! Also I really appreciate your guys' reaction!
