I had so much fun ;) Mamamoo debuted in 2014, so they are not that old of the group like you probably thought, but they are not rookies :) And it was fun to watch how you were trying to guess their ages, because the one you thought is the baby of the group (the pretty blonde girl) is actually the oldest and a leader, and the one you thought is the oldest (black hair girl) is the real baby of the group, the youngest haha Mamamoo are known as the vocal queens in kpop. Seriously, just watch a video called "MAMAMOO In Sync [Harmonies + Impromptus]" and you would see that they are THE queens of vocals. And that one rapper girl is always a rapper, not only here, don't worry haha But she's also singing sometimes. And about your comment on the child and being a mom in kpop - I've seen that some people already said that it's not her child, but I can add, that while having a child and being a kpop idol is not that rare, the women have it worst. There is no female idol, who had a baby and still was in a group. Female idols in situation like that left the group. While male idols still have their careers and in kpop we have a good amount of fathers, especially in older groups from 90s-early 2000s. Women just end their careers to focus on the family. But here I'm talking only about kpop idols. Other Korean entertainers like actresses or female singers outside of kpop (because in Korea they have various types of music, not only kpop) - they just take a break for a while and when their child is like 2-3 years old they usually come back.

Every member can do it all, when Wheein (girl with blue hair) went on a show called King of Masked Singer, one of the panel judges thought she was a main rapper that had been hiding her ability to sing, when in reality it was the other way around lol. Please react to some live stuff, I know that's what most Mamamoo fans like, or funny videos with them.

They are some dead ass artists with deep ass concepts and they top charts in Korea but are underrated internationally their fanbase is steadily growing

The 3 (Solar, Wheein, Hwasa) are all beyond good vocalist and they all have distinctive voices. For KPOP groups, the belter is usually seen as the main vocalist of the group. The positions that I list down is probably how fans see them in the group. The reason why SOLAR is deemed as the “main vocalist is because she is the belter of the group. She is an incredible vocalist. Her volume and power of her voice is what makes her stand out as a vocalist. She is best in hitting the high notes. A little weaker in low notes compared to WheeIn and Hwasa. As for WHEEIN, she can also be considered as the main vocalist due to her skills and techniques in singing. She is by far (in my opinion) the most stable and the one with the most vocal skills and techniques in Mamamoo. Her voice can simply fit any genre and any songs. She is the “bridge” of Solar and Hwasa. Since she is the one that blends in the other members’ voices. She can hit the high notes, the low notes, and even “whistle”. It’s just that she is not as strong as a belter compared to Solar. HWASA is another legendary vocalist. Her voice is so special (same goes to the other members). Hwasa is also the lead vocalist of the group as she can hits the high notes as well as the low notes. It’s just that sometimes her higher notes come out a bit forcefully compared to Solar and WheeIn. She sounds incredibly good in certain genres. That’s what makes her the “lead” instead of “main” compared to the other 2. In case some don’t know, MOONBYUL is originally a vocalist. She is later trained as a rapper since the other 3 are just so incredibly good in singing. Don’t misunderstand, she is still a very good vocalist, just not as strong as the other 3. Her singing skills are even a lot better than the other groups out there (no offense, but it’s true) even though she is the rapper. She just need more proper training and she will be even better as she got used to singing with her rapper voice. Mamamoo differs from the other groups from the aspects of their performances and live vocals. They sound so good vocally during live that you will think that they are lip syncing like the other groups. And their performance wise, they always add adlibs to make it fresh and different every time. You can check out their vocals through “Immortal Song” and you guys will be blown away! Trust me! So, guys... Solar, the blonde here, she is the oldest at 28, and the leader. Moonbyul, the rapper, she’s 26. Wheein is the lead vocalist, she is 24. Hwasa, the badass lady, she’s 24 for, a few months younger than Wheein. These girls have been around since 2014, and are considered one of the best performers and vocalists among girl-groups. Ahhh i loved your reaction! I can definitely agree that these ladies are the GOAT in K-pop. They're well known for their live vocals and crazy stage presence. In fact many award shows in SK clamour to get them to perform. They stay lit and HIP!! (I'd suggest Egotistic and Starry NIght if you want to react to more. Just a little FYI: A visual of a group, although we can all agree every single kpop star is a visual😂👏🏻 they also have other roles and the visual title doesn't take away from their title as vocalist dancer or rapper, it's like an extra little thing they hold onto, in every kpop group a member is given the title 'visual' by their company because they are the prettiest/most handsome in regards to Korean beauty standards or perceived to be the most attractive in the group. However there is also a 'face' of the group which is when a member of a group is chosen to be it because they are the most well known out of their other members or to simply just be a face representative of their group💞

Moonbyul (the rapper) does have solo songs. I'd recommend In my Room and Worthless especially. Apart from these, her rapping really shines on many Mamamoo tracks. A good example would be the hiphop influenced Sleeping in the Car.

Im amazed no one has recommended their Immortal Songs medley yet. Mamamoo are absolute vocal queens. Definitely recommend any immortal song reaction but the medley sums up most of the songs and you get to see their incredible vocals live!:D

Moonbyul: She is the one with purple hair and she is a rapper, dancer and vocalist. She is born December 22, 1992. Wheein: The one with blue hair. She is a vocalist and a dancer. She is born April 17, 1995. Hwasa: The Mature badass one. She is actually the youngest and is born July 23, 1995. She is a vocalist and sometimes a rapper.

11:23 Wheein learned to play drums for their concerts about a year before this. Filming the m/v the other members were miming (badly) playing instruments while Wheein actually drummed on set. There is behind the scenes video of it and after they cut the director was surprised af by Wheein's drumming to the playback.

In South Korea, HIP is used to say something is cool or trending. And the point of the song is that with whatever clothes and looking like whatever they're still HIP. Especially because they've received comments regarding their appearence and how they "don't take care of their image" or especially Hwasa "doesn't fit the korean beauty standard".
