I've been throwing a Fuse for 250'-300' wooded shots since I started playing a few years ago. Unprecedented glide and very straight.

Try the DGA Rift if you want a slightly more flippy-floaty buzzz.

yeah heard great thing about buzz but literally for me, this is the only disc other than putters that throws straight for me

Yes, please do. There are a few older molds that didn't get decent reviews. Plus, you can always find/borrow some beat in versions to compare.

Great review and great understable mid. I have three and place it in the same category as my Tursas. The Opto-X Fuse is my fav.

Yeah it's very very similar to the Tursas. Insane glide, you could even argue that this disc should have a '7' glide. The glidiest disc I've ever thrown

Love my Lucid EMAC. I just added an Opto Fuse and an Opto Compass to go along with my Buzzz and EMAC Truth.

I have the matched pair of a Goldline Fuse and Goldline Core that I have had in my bag off and on for about 10 years. I have yet to toss the Fuse in Opto plastic, but it seems the flight characteristics are almost identical. My Fuse is my go to straight mid-range approach disc with minimal to no fade if thrown with some speed.

Somehow ended up trying to throw my ages old Fuse with a control grip and a lot of hyzer just bombing it. Man does it go straight, goes straight for around 80m (260ft) and then turns right on a RHBH if I get all my power into the throw, if I don't it just goes straight. Ends up a bit over 90m (300ft) for me. Really nice but kind of an odd tactic by me.

I got this disc in like an almost innova style pro that says “test plastic” works great more flat top than the one you showed.

The Opto-x fuse is incredible! If you like this, I'd suggest looking at a Full Turn Passport in premium plastic. Not many people know about it. Think its a hidden gem. Milo again!!!!

The early opto-x fuse I got (the first JohnE teamseries) was far too domey though so it actually had noticable fade... I got a really sweet opto-x fuse in the mystery-x box I ordered some time before christmas though.

Either set should be great. I like the discs in both sets but the Latitude set includes a Fuse which is one of my favorite discs. However I also really like the Link putter which comes with the discmania set. Either set will be just fine imo

How would anybody compare the fuse to the DD evidence? Ive been throwing the evidence but cant find replacements. Good review!

Not too different I would say. Fuse maybe has more glide. Been a while since I have thrown an Evidence tho. I would def recommend trying an Opto Fuse.

Neo just seems like opaque Opto to me. I doubt I could tell the difference blindfolded. But I love it. Opto is probably my favorite plastic type on the market and makes up a big chunk of my bag.

I only have this in goldline, and am juggling a Millennium qms and Discmania dline ms for this shot shape. (Stand up to straight, and late or long turn) Will get a few when I finally choose. Also love the Pure! How do some of the new plastics compare?

This is the only fuse I've thrown so I'm not sure. I hope to try other plastics eventually. Particularly curious about how thr old runs and gold line versions fly.

I can recommend opto and opto-x fuses but in the case of opto-x you want to get one with only a hint of dome like the regular opto has unless you want it to fight back to the left. (kindof ruins the point of the disc for me, first year JohnE teamseries fuse was way too domey... the olivegreen fuse I got in my mystery-x pack rocks though)

How does this disc Compare to the buzzz from discraft? They are both super similar in size and shape.

Much more naturally understable. Closer to a buzzz ss in terms of stability but probably slightly more understable still.

I would say the Fuse is probably a bit faster with a bit more glide. They are similar enough that I don't need a bounty with the Fuse already in my bag. Fuse probably flips and holds turn a touch easier in my opinion as well.
