I agree with the DS Elixir pricing. Its a very good fragrance, but the price is ridiculous for a designer brand.

How is this compare to asad??do they smell same?

I use a “body scan” or yoga Indra meditation to help me sleep. Also listening to podcasts , better if they are not very interesting lol, helps quiet my mind. A late night walk may help clear the mind as well.

@5:26 Asad lacks a bit of performance????? 3.5 hours?????? Imho that's significantly off, Joy. Maybe you should compare on paper strips, not just on your skin, or also maybe you are going nose blind? In my own experience Asad is above average, and by that I mean 6-7+ hours. Not as beastly as the original Elixir for sure (but what designer's is?) but I can still smell it on my clothes the next day. Saying 3.5 hours is hugely off, imho. The scales on both Parfumo and Fragrantica also clearly indicate Asad is quite a strong performer: 8.2 on Parfumo (not hours, that´s just an arbitrary scale from 0 to 10 about longevity, but anything 7 or beyond means quite above-average longevity,) and "Long lasting", so passt Moderate, in Fragrantica.

Watch enthusiasts are about more than just telling time. Car enthusiasts are about more than just driving somewhere. And fragrance enthusiasts should be about more than just smelling good. If Elixir is good, then its good. If you can afford it, great. If you can’t, save money. But don’t tell me that there’s a way to cheat the art that I love, or that you can get something for nothing. That’s an offense to everything I do and have learned and believe in. Who starts a career thinking “I want to be the cheapest at what I do!” No. We set out to be great at what we do. Is greatness going to be the cheapest? No. But then, we promote and spend money, not on companies that want to be the best, but companies that are just the cheapest. Dior should be expensive. They created it, tested it, comply with regulations, market it, and have all the financial risk if it fails. Clones have no risk, because they’ve created nothing.
