Gourmand scents can run a very line between eliciting a memory palace, to evoke nostalgia, and actually smelling like food. I like the former but not the latter so much.
Oud for Glory id probably not your thing because it is very situational. Business meetings. Church, and any other lower key formal type gatherings. It's not a sweet party Fboy type scent. I rarely wear it but I appreciate what it is. Also it is much better after months of maceration. The rubbery note disappeared, and it is just sweet nutty scent.
I got it not too long ago, put on a few blasts, and now I smell like a bookstore. Personally I dig it, but only really for fall months. I can totally understand why it’s not a hit with everyone, though.
