Mariah? Yes i think this one sounds better than the official video. I also notice this with other artists i listen to, even my other fave artist kinda the same but not always
Yeah, it's like the dubbing for quality completely removed the resonance and lower frequencies from her voice, and made her sound tinny/robotic. After I heard the official, I was hoping for audience footage for what she really sounded like and its so much better and she sounds great!
@@Ecirroh1 I think they compress her voice too much when they’re mixing the mic feed and it gives her voice such a strange quality. But the live feed is much better, the echo and reverb help to make it sound less edited
I'm tearing up while watching this. Love the whistle at the end. I keep praying for that 20th #1. I know it's not over yet, we can still get it soon ❤️
Now she is a WORE just like the rest of these female rappers in this day and age. Let's be clear about that. Women no longer have respect for themselves.
Lotto didn't even know it was Mariah Carey sample her producers had her rapping to and now Mariah appears on stage with her. Talk about a full circle moment!
So you really think she just sampled this song without even knowing it was Mariah or at least getting her permission??? Lol so I’m guessing you’re assuming she just made this song and Mariah so happened to be performing the same night as her
Damn! Latto is an amazing dancer! Her stamina and energy doing those moves and rapping at the same time or in between made my jaw dropped!!! Plus, Mariah's entrance and vocals!! The belts and whistles!!! What a superb performance!
She has performed there a few times. We Belong Together 06, #beautiful with Young Jeezy and Miguel; I forget the year, BET Blueprint, the tribute to Whitney Houston and she even did a cameo on the BET show Real Husband's of Hollywood. Not correcting you, just a fan. I had friends that was shocked she was there. I'm like nah bro she been there many times haha.
3:16 - 3:29 was completely live and sounded AMAZING. I wish she would just GO FOR IT even more. Those high notes though...I'm just so thrilled she went for live and executed it FLAWLESSLY. Those high notes aren't as piercing as they used to be, but just...excelsior.
@@WongAndrew_ Not sure. The down notes on all her phrasing have that tell-tale sign of her bringing the mic in a bit. Almost every single down-run sounds the same. Pretty sure this is all live aside from the whistle behind the screen.
The way Mariah sings you can really tell she’s a very SEASONED singer‼️‼️like even while her voice is damage she still sounds superior to these new girls LIKE HOWWW
Did I miss something? The title says Lotto brings out Mariah. Is Mariah on her track because that sounds like Mariah's song. I don't think Mariah need anyone to gring her out, she's in her own lane.
I know I’m a square my two daughters tell me all the time I’m not hip but I actually thought that was Lil Kim I couldn’t really see anybody’s faces I know that was Mariah Carey but the first person to hit the stage was I don’t know her name and I actually thought she was a little cute like I said I couldn’t see any faces she was still waiting oh well I think Brandy set it off how is it for coolness?
There are no two versions. Its the same version sung with 2022 vocals. The original 1995 version or any of the live performances from that era doesnt have those adlibs from 3:13 onwards. The only difference is the quality. Live performances tend to sound better in the audience due to the sounds being amplified out into large venues (adding more reverb and slightly distorting it) but recorded live performances extrapolate the sounds directly from the microphones itself as to avoid background noise. Thats why in the official performance, her voice isnt nearly as resonant, amplified or echoed making it sound ‘dryer’. Usually with all live performances, the audience footage will almost always sound better
