There's something about the way that she delivers these lines so elegantly that makes this song especially touching - it's almost as though she's conveying "it hurts me that it didn't work out, but I wish the best for you" through her gentle yet genuine tone... this is yet another masterpiece from Laufey.

This is by far the saddest and most relatable song out there. Laufey is a perfect mix of modern and classical and I think the way she writes and composes her music is just so unique. I love her so much, she makes me so happy especially in times like this when Im not feeling my best. I wish she could come to Istanbul or if I could go to one of her concerts any place, but I don't have the money rn to travel so yeah. I also have finals which im so tired for, but I study and use Laufey as a reward for myself. Every time I finish a lecture I listen to one of her songs, it's so calming and peaceful and helps me relax and get ready to study the next lecture. I hope one day I can meet and talk to Laufey and thank her for everything she's helped me through. Thank you Laufey if you see this or not, I love you and I love your music and your vibes. Thank you

This was so relatable for me, particularly for my situation which I don't see get talked about a lot. Basically I'm in a one sided situationship.
