The Icelandic Synphonic Orchestra has home in Harpa music hall. The musicians are on payroll by Icelandic taxpayers. And therefor they have some obligations beside their chosen repertoire. They play directly once a month on RÚV a full concert program. Also they travel the country and play in gym halls for primary and secondary school kids. They have collaborated with many national and international stars. They are short named SINFÓ. See Skálmöld (metal band), Björgvin, Björk, Eyvör, Sissel Kirkebö and more. They are not shy of breaking boundaries.

I’ve followed Laufey for a long time now, wishing one day to see her live .. But I do not have the funds to travel abroad to see her perform at all of the amazing places and festivals she goes to. Then out of the blue I got a text to say she was performing in the UK, but when I looked exactly where (assuming some fancy arena in London or Manchester) I couldn’t quite get my head around the fact that Laufey was performing at a Glamping camp site just two miles from where I live! I mean if that isn’t a sign then what is?!

Her voice is so amazing. It's just so good. It can fit with jazz instruments, modern instruments, and classical instrumemts! Its peaceful, calming, but also joyful and so many otehrs. It's just so amazing that her voice fits literally everything. I'm so thankful for being able to hear her voice.
