Everyone kinda knew from this post that RT seemed like it was coming to an end and now today on March 6th 2024 we say goodbye to Rooster Teeth after all these years...

I just dropped by to see what became of my favorite channel from 10 years ago and oh…… oh my.

I once met a guy who was an aspiring animator and it was his dream to become an employee at Rooster Teeth one day. That was 6 years ago. Sure hope he found a better career path since. 😢

I think if Rooster Teeth just stopped uploading anything, no one would really notice.

Is there a reason the veteran RT members are still there? I feel like they would have way more success if they moved on to do their own thing like Ray did back in the day. Are they trying to ride it out until a new fan base comes along? Feel like RT needs to trim down the content and focus on making one solid product. They have to be losing so much money on every video. If they don't do something I'd be surprised if they don't declare bankruptcy by the end of the year.

Hmm, short story. I'm checking back in with the channels as I came back around by accident typing in Let's Play (some game). I fell out of touch with the content over time, among the flurry of things that came up over the years. But the one year I ever went to a convention, which just happened to be Pax East in 2013, I was lucky to get Jack and Gus's signatures. Monty's too; rest in peace. I've been out of the loop for years, but it was great to see at least two familiar faces. Edit: Seems I skipped over Barbara (skimmed the video), my apologies. Three* familiar faces.

Jeez, I used to be a major fan of RT, watching every new RT podcast and Rage Quit in the early 2010s. This is just sad now. Honestly, that's the only word I can think of for this. I used to dream of taking a tour at the RT site, maybe even seeing the podcast set and the Achievement Hunter office. I'd actually feel major second-hand embarrassment if I took a tour of RT now.

People really love giving hate to RT. I remember being a Kid watching Achievement Hunter, RvB, Shorts, and the Podcast. Everyday it was a ritual. I now work in content creation in Australia full time and many of my techniques come from my love affair with this channel. So I can never hate, sure there has been some rough times in recent years with this channel, but hey many media business have had it.

I saw the title and thought it was going to be a video about people making fun of that stupid new logo.

I have been a fan of RT since i was 11 years old downloading RVB episodes off of the microsoft store on my Xbox 360. So trust me when I say that I and everyone else that still clicks onto this channel once in a while can see that the only reason you keep this medium of live content under the RT brand is to try and milk the pennies that the loyal fanbase will still bring. Achievement hunter is over. Stop talking about it. The new podcast isnt good. Its just 4 millennials talking to the wrong audience. The faces of RT are gone except for the ones you rope back into a video so you can stick them in the title and thumbnail for a few extra clicks and they never look happy to be there. I dont know if you're creative directors for live action personality based content know this but seeing the people that we have come to know so well and appreciate over the years look like they dont want to be in whatever script you handed them makes everyone in your community dislike you more. The major problem here is that you refuse to listen to your audience and it seems like you worked so hard to destroy a community that was so appreciative and supportive. I dont even know why you still bother trying to put out this content. We would have had more respect if you retired the rooster teeth channel and left it to be trailers and announcements for content that you are making. And I understand that this is an announcement of content and that it is trying to stay in the typical, personality based RT style with faces you know and love. But you are doing it wrong. Its not the faces we loved it was the passion we loved. Seeing a video of the animators announcing the content they were working on and being able to see the excitement in them and their joy for the productions was amazing. It not only got us excited but swayed our opinions for it already because if we can tell that an animator that we like is super excited about a project they are working on we will want to enjoy it. Thats why always open is doing better because we like Barbara and she likes what she is doing. So we go into it with a better state of mind. Simply put we dont hate the new logo because it looks bad. We hate it because we attribute it with you. This new soul sucking, content cranking, thief of joy that is fully willing to parade one of our absolute favorite people on the planet Geoff Ramsay around in tears every time you mess up. And we hate you for it. But you wont read this and if you do you wont listen because thats all you are now. a content platform that once had the most loyal fanbase now trying to bleed them for anything they are willing to give you in hopes that one day it will all be good again.

May I make a suggestion for YT content? Get the Team RWBY VAs to play GTAV. Make avatars as close to their characters as you can, then have them In character play through the heists. I think you could have fun with it and it would be fun to watch. And it doesn't have to be limited to team RWBY. But I would ask that you make character avatars before brining in a new VA. Just for the look.
