I always had lauki ka halwa same process & lauki halwa is a mandatory sweet in some customs during wedding. Frankly speaking lauki in dessert or lauki with prawns both are my favorite combination. Thanks Chef KK for sharing this recipe. My husband hates lauki n this barfi is a perfect way I can fool him to eat lauki :-D

Hey chef , even I make doodhi halwa in the same way .. just I saute the doodhi for two mins on low heat in ghee n then do exactly what you did ... It's one of my favourite recipes.. ❤️ m sure urs tasted equally awesome ..

My mother sometimes makes Papaya ka halwa, it's super tasty. My childhood drawing teacher (who was also our neighbour) used to hate papaya, most probably because his mother used to only feed him boiled papaya. So one day my mom served him papaya ka halwa without telling him the ingredients.
