I bought this about a week ago and it works great. Diagnosed my known 2001 Honda Accord EGR issue which was caused by a design problem and too expensive to fix right away. This unit can be set for specific manufacturers codes and in my case it not only found the code but gave a decription of the problem which for a $24 pocket reader was impressive. I suspect your vehicle is non compliant .. Suggest you try this on a different vehicle for a more accurate review.
Where did you find this reader doesn’t do ABS codes? I bought it as my 2012 fiat punto has check engine light on and giving ABS, hill holder, ASR and ESP faults, however this CR319 does not find any fault codes. I was hoping it was going to lead me to the fault with my car.
@@DavidMcLuckie my Ebay PP2000 clone does everything including coding keys for 1/5 of the price of your larger machine. As I'm only using it for my own cars I dont need the fancy gear! Lmao
That's a good point. If you've only got one vehicle or one kind then a specific scan tool is ideal. I only bought the more expensive Launch as I need to work on multiple brands.
@@DavidMcLuckie I'd love to see the video on the bigger one just to see what features it has or whether it can code in new parts, keys etc. Keep up the good work mate, always informative!
Interestingly if you click on the 1st Amazon link, it actually claims to include „free lifetime update“ on the 319 (however they want to do this...). Nice review though. I wonder: how does this compare with the OBD app on your DAB radio head that could be seen on the screen in the other video?
