Launchpad Being Jealous For 2 Minutes GAY

To think some animators out there had to hand draw every individual frame of Launchpad being pissed at Darkwing and Morgana being a thing
And the writers had to specifically write him being jealous
If this doesn't prove Launchpad's in love with Darkwing I don't know what will
Clips aren't mine, they're from the show. I'm using them to edit and make my point over.

I'm so glad that people are finally discovering the big gay™ energy these two ducks had in the OG Darkwing Duck series. Jealous Launchpad was a treat for sure

Morgana was such a great character. She looked evil, but she wasn't evil at all. Just misunderstood. And Darkwing helped the good in her heart show itself to the world.

I think in the original Darkwing was bi, Reboot Darkwing is gay disaster and loveable himbo Launchpad is either bi or pan. Admittedly that's from how many fanfics I've seen depict him as that for the bi, but he does have the aditude of loving everyone.

Darkwing and Morgana had a cute dynamic, sure. The reformation plot had a lot of potential. But it was executed rather poorly. And their relationship ended up being so forced. Dark didn't accept who she was and she solved her problems by yelling at him and trying to turn him into jello. She doesn't even know who Drake Mallard is until the last episode. Not to mention it was a gay wannabe goth dating a real goth lesbian. Launchpad knew Drake and Darkwing. He is still loyal to Drake. He loves Drake for all his flaws and tries to help him work on it. They live together. They are raising a daughter together. And sure, they both flirt with plenty of girls. The way I see it is Drake is trying too hard to be straight and Launchpad was bi. They kept hitting on girls until they realized they'd been in love the whole time. So the reboot better either fix Morgwing or make Drakepad canon.

No no no, look, I got it! I solved it, I cracked the code! Let's make both statements true, it's 100% possible for DarkWing x Morgana and DrakePad to coexist! Just make the DarkWing Morgana falls in love with be Jim Starling (aka: reboot Negaduck), and let Drake and Launchpad get their cool Darkwing themed gay wedding™, hell, could even go a step further and make it a double wedding were the old DW marries Morgana and modern DW marries his homie. All settled 👌

Love that it's the old series that has most of us shipping Darkwing and Launchpad. Love that it carried over into the reboot, I miss how Launchpad didn't have as much dumb himbo energy around him as he does in the reboot.

I never saw Darkwing duck as a kid. I wasn’t born in the year it came out. I didn’t even know it existed until I saw some episodes of ducktales 2017 on Disney plus last 2022.

Look, I'm 100000% DrakePad shipper, but I just came with the definitive answer that to the Morgana/Darkwing vs Launchpad/Darkwing dilemma for the reboot: pair up Morgana with Jim Starling' Darkwing, and Launchpad with Drake Mallard. All's well that ends well!

Magica! Morgana can barely use her magic correctly, Magica however did so much stuff with her magic, and was only defeated after she went against a large group of people, had it been her against one person, she would win for sure. Magica is just better at everything all around, but Morgana is a better person
