Love this song! My Dad introduced me to Jazz with Ella FitzGerald's version of this song from the Verve 'At Newport' album when I was a little boy. He sat me down and explained how each musician played and improvised on the main theme. He told me how Ella used her voice to improvise just like those playing an instrument. This song has an important place in my heart and you've absolutely done it justice.
You make these "art songs" your own! More please. I'm a fan. Thanks to you tube I am pleased there are young vocalists such as you keeping this genre going. I'm thinking you'd be well suited for the following...just a suggestion... MATT DENNIS; Love turns winter to spring, and (You bought me) Violets for my furs. Easy living Crazy he calls me He's funny that way That's all Keep 'em coming ! Thank you.
