Laura Bretan: "America's Got Talent" 

As a latter comment, Laura astonished even herself with those final notes. That look of shock by a performer doing something outside their own body. The power of the divine. Such is the glorious gift of Laura Bretan. The greatest opera Soprano I've ever heard. And even more beautiful than her angelic gift.

This has been years ago now and I still rate it as the most fabulous audition I’ve ever seen. Absolutely incredible even to this day.

I will never forget this performance, after watching it at least 30 times. Nor will I ever forget the name Laura Bretan.

I moved to tears no matter how many times I watched this video.

Every time I hear this I am absolutely blown away by her talent. Straight off, I think to myself this isn’t an audition, this is a Performance, she sounded like an absolute Pro. BRAVA Laura xx

Best female opera singer I've ever heard. Case closed. She sings with a beauty and a passion unequaled by any Soprano since time began. Such a beautiful young woman and delicate soul. As fine an audition as any talent show will ever have. SIMPLY UNREAL.

Protect this girl at all cost. She is a pure soul. She might save the world one day.

I Saw this about a week after it came out and every time I've come back to it I have the same response, she opened her mouth out came that voice and I cried. And I am still crying. That was 6 years ago and now she is traveling around the world sharing the gift God gave her all without the benefit of any formal training. Not many people know that she learned to sing this way on youtube and from her mom and grandpa who would wait for her to come home from school and she would sing for him. Laura is still that shy, humble young lady until she hears her music and then that voice comes out. I think of the movie The Fifth Element when the divine being is basically out on her feet and then the time came to do what she was made to do and she, like Laura, opened her mouth and out came that gift with all it's power and glory that God gave her. Sing on young lady, we are all still listening.

I know this is over the top, but... when I listen and watch, I feel like I'm in the presence of greatness!! Not just the voice, but the emotion in this little girl's expression. All of it together, is just WOW!!! Also about the 10th time to listen.

This was 9 years ago! Laura is 22 now. WOW! At 13 she already had a mature operatic voice!! Amazing!

I have watched this over a hundred tines it and it is still thrilling to watch. She was nervous at first and then the gift took over. The Lord in His Word says that they who honor Me I will honor and Laura and her family honor God and the Lord created Laura to honor Him with the magnificent voice that He has given her, along with the sweet and humble spirit that He has given her. Praise The Lord!

It never gets old. Innocence with such an amazing voice with such depth of feeling.

When I saw this audition on AGT I was nearly moved to tears. The sweet, humble, spirit of 13 year old Laura and in the time since I have listened and followed her career and am both encouraged and my heart warmed as her voice and talent matures. She has a wonderful singing voice and a great gift 💝 in her God given talent. I hope and pray for many good things for Laura Bretan. She is a humble yet remarkable young woman and talent. ✝️🙏🏻❤️🥰😊

I have long ago lost count on the number of times I have come back to re-watch this performance. I followed her concerts in Europe and loved every thing she sang, but I still keep coming back to this and her other AGT performances. She calms me in some way I don't understand, but I'm 77 and nearing the light at the end of the tunnel, I want my family to play her music when I'm done here and boxed up for what comes next. Thank you Laura.

I think this is like my 20th time watching Laura's audition. What's incredible is that she's actually gotten better since this. She has become an absolutely stunningly gorgeous young lady as well. And what's crazy is that her sister is almost just as good as she is.

It is hard to believe that great big voice comes out of little young lady. Exquisite vocal control across her range, uses trills and "rolled 'r's", completely understands the story she's singing and gesticulates to enhance the pathos she relates to her audience. She has complete command of her audience as proven by her ovation, not only is the audience standing, but her judges too. It will be interesting to see her now, and in 10 years from now, though I do believe that there will be of and about her a best use of her time between now and moving forward. We will all have a lot to see.

It is so wonderful to hear her sing. I believe this was her first public viewing. In addition to this, I have watched her beautiful and very impressive metamorphosis into an even more beautiful young lady with enormous and nearly unbelievable talent which is obviously God given. The whole world needs to both see and hear her. Her parents are to be very much appreciated and thanked for their great gift to the world. I can certainly understand why Simon Cowell has never seen or heard such a voice. I am 86 years old and I know that I haven’t. This is so powerful that every time I watch this I think to myself that whatever she is singing, whatever the lyrics are, that if shes asking for something, if its a request, then how could you say no? This talented young lady sang without fully developed lungs also called afterburners and got a golden buzzer. Now she is 18 and to hear her sing with full afterburners watch "Laura Bretan-Amazing Grace [Official Video]".

That voice is realy unbelievable - the best I`ve ever heard! I have looked it several times... and tears always came along...wow.

Fantastic! There is something special in all her videos on YT. The worst in this video is the guy in the flat cap doing his obnoxious best to make it all about him. The hug from father at the end is so sweet, looks like a fine family.

i went to the same middle school as her (never met her, but i met her cousin who also went there) and our school held an assembly to watch this video when it first aired😭

She sings from a Spirit within her. Powerful to the point of changing lives.

One further comment, the only singer of a similar age I've seen with that kind of talent, is the marvelous Beau Dermott. Dermott should have won BGT, and Bretan should have captured AGT. Both have a gift and a presence that only a handful of artists can compare to. If anyone is trying to bash her they are clueless and envious to the depths of their soul. Simply an astonishing young woman.

Simply beyond magnificent. What a significant contribution to music this child is and shall continue to be. What a pleasure to listen to her voice. Staggering.
