Laura Cox Band, l'OVNI français du Hard Blues rock, était la tête d'affiche du Handi Rock Bike Festival de Angres(62). L'occasion pour le public nordiste de découvrir celle qui a fait le buzz sur internet avec ses premières compositions, avant de monter son groupe et de se tailler une place de choix dans le monde du Rock français.
Une musique qui sent le kangourou à plein nez avec des riffs acérés et des mélodies boogie blues accrocheuses qui te hantent le cerveau un long moment.
Des musicos top level, de la sensualité, du gros son, un show un poil trop court malheureusement.

Magnifique Laura , de la pure et bonne musique comme j'aime , je suis de la vieille génération j'ai 64 ans et fan des groupes comme ACDC , PINK FLOYD , Deep purple , les Who et bien d'autres ! Encore bravo pour votre musique !!!

Idem, même génération (< 5ans) : Pour moi, elle a un timbre de voix et une energie qui me rappelle Pat Bénatar et un jeu de guitare largement aussi bon que Neil Giraldo. C'est donc du très lourd !!

She got the look! And the sound? Hard Rock in spades! I dont know whether to be jelly or to be a diehard fan! Seriously, congrats Laura and band. You have the x factor - that "something special" - that will keep you in audiences for a full rock career ( like 3 albums with extensive touring for each.) Go get em Tiger...ess! 😉 🤘

More seriously.... No they aren’t especially original, but many bands aren’t. They are pretty solid though. And I think that with Laura fronting them they have a pretty distinctive look and character. Lyrics are a bit derivative but she’s writing in a language that she learned as a second language, despite her father being English. They will improve.
