Omg I love Laura! I have seen so many of her movies. I loved her with Shailene in the Fault in Our Stars. That movie just kills me. I watch it when I want to cry. Please do an interview with Shailene! I am a big fan of hers as well.

ENLIGHTENED IS STILL ONE OF MY FAV SHOWS OF ALL TIME. I wish they hadn't cancelled it. I related so hard to that show and had an almost similar experience at a job!! I actually watched both seasons twice b/c my bf hadn't seen it and he loved it too.
Love Laura Dern! First movie I ever saw her in was Smooth Talk starring Treat Williams. I really identified with her character when I was that age...had some of the some experiences.

I think Lucy Liu would be an excellent addition for a potential season 3. She could be a Tiger mom type with a career in tech, who pushes her kids to be high achievers and brushes up against Madeleine's methods and challenges her authority. Real fireworks here.
I had no idea Dianne Ladd was Laura's mother!! I used to watch Chesapeake Shores, and Dianne Ladd played the grandmother. I love learning about Hollywood connections like that. :)

I have always thought the both of you were such fantastic actresses, particularly when I was growing up seeing Laura in Jurassic Park and Reece in Election. You both seemed fearless. However, I feel very conflicted over what happened to Andrea Arnold on the set of big little lies. When I was 17 my friend showed me Red Road and it changed a part of my brain forever, it made me want to and feel I COULD direct movies. I have adored Andreas work since and I feel so gutted to hear how she was treated on the set of BBL, and how heartbroken it made her feel. BBL was about how women could universally show their talents and I feel she was overlooked simply because she wasn’t the “cash cow” the show needed. I never write these comments but I feel strongly about it. I wish you both nothing but respect but I hope Andrea receives hers...
