Laura Goodhue, VP of Public Policy for Planned Parenthood of South, East. and North Florida was diagnosed with breast cancer five years ago. She was moved to do a self-breast check after watching a video from Planned Parenthood urging women to do frequent breast checks. After feeling something strange, she sought further screening, and her breast cancer was detected. Five years later, Laura is cancer-free and credits Planned Parenthood for the early detection that saved her life.
