I love this video not so much because of the actual content, but the pure joy and happiness on LMH's face! Her bonnet is adorable! I have one of my great great grandmothers bonnets! Its blue with tiny blue and white flowers. What great memories were made and so very educational also! She will remember this particular trip forever!

You are a bright, smart beautiful young lady. Little House was my favorite program growing up, I’m in my 50’s and I swear you look just like Laura in Your bonnet and dress. Your brothers and sister are adorable 🥰, you remind me of my sweet grandchildren.

Living Life sorry hun but Lmh doesn't have a sister? just two brothers... Little music man & Jonboy....i think what you saw was a photo of a little girl from the actual show? (to me she looked like laura's little sister carrie?) Everything else you said was spot on! i'm in my 50's also except i live in Australia & my fave show was Little House on the Prairie too. We always had a box of tissues nearby as so many of them were 'tear jerkers' as my dear daddy would call them. Nice to meet you 🙂 ps. should of added plus 3 adult big brothers.

Actually, the other little girl in the video was actually LMH a few years back when we first visited that location. I was comparing her photo from years ago and last year (when this video was made). We had her strike the same pose both times. All the girl photos in the video are indeed LMH. 😃💜👒💜

Nice tour..nice that the town has preserved her and her family in such a loving way...She has passed on but she and her Family left a rich history that the town is quiet proud of..Just to say they lived in there town area..

I love Laura Ingalls Wilder. I’ve read all her books. If course the Little House on the Prairie shows. Little Miss Homemaker I’m so jealous lol. I’m so glad you got to see and walk in her footsteps. What a Darling young girl.... she just fits that Era back in the Mid 1800s.... As a child I remember reading all of my Laura Ingalls books... Each one with a Yellow background and I looked forward to the photos and the wonderful stories... I was just thinking maybe you could do a synopsis of each of the books in the Boxed Set. She has the love of the olden times.... and would make the perfect auditor for such a project.

I loved reading those books when I was younger and I'm still watching 'Little House on the Prairie' repeats on TV in New Zealand on the days that I'm home. They really are still, great tv watching.

Thank you little miss homemaker for the wonderful job you did of showing us everything and explaining things so well. It must have been so exciting walking the same floor that Laura did. I might not have gone with you,but I got excited just thinking about it,maybe some day I’ll get to visit and experience this wonderful place too. I loved the bonnet you bought. How you fell about Laura Ingalls wilder is how I feel about Louisa May Alcott. Little women was my favorite book when I was your age. About six summers ago I finally got to go up to Massachusetts to see her house in Concord and see where she was buried and other stuff up there for her. You were always treasure getting to see that.

Incredible, Rose Wilder died in the first year my son turned 1 year old in 1968. He's about to turn 54 and can ride his bike 25 miles a day.
