The Swedish Family is in Kenya. Alma, Harry and Laura weigh themselves at Wilson Airport in Nairobi. The family will go with a propeller plane together with MAF to Log-Logo. It is a barren landscape and dirty water is a big problem for the Rendille people who live there. We have water filters with us to distribute to families who live there. The journey takes just under two hours and when we land we are met by Meshack. We continue in a Jeep and stop in a small village. A woman invites us into her traditional house and Axel shows us how to assemble a water filter. We move on to another family that has camels. Laura thinks they are nice and Harry try milking, Alma tastes the milk. It is full of nutrients and is given to small children in the area. We continue with the Jeep to a house where we will have lunch. We are met by a group of women who sing traditional songs to welcome us, it’s beautiful and mommy Joanna gets emotional. The women get a water filter each and their children are given clothes, shoes and toys. In exchange, we are given jewelry. We eat lunch and then have to rush off to the airfield, a storm is coming and we have to leave as soon as possible. A couple of days later we end the vlog in the house in Nairobi. We talk about our experiences in Africa and all the feelings we will take home with us. We hope you enjoy the video which is different from what we usually post.
