Astonishingly good. Her music now is amazing but this is proof that it has always been so. She is the greatest female singer songwriter of her generation IMO.
This is exactly why folk is our savior, strong fearless women and gentle men standing in the background, with humble contribution that almost perfectly complements the long journey we've embarked on..
Today, a friend of mine was talking about rediscovering old music you liked on youtube. I was searching through my youtube channel when I came across this magnificent artist. Love this live session sooooooo much!!!! So powerful!
I thought those guys in the back were some youth church choir waiting to do some gospel harmonies. Took me a while to stop wondering when they were going to come in.
Laura....what can I say.....just listening her 10/100/1000/1000000 times and i feel like the first one... world's n1 woman singer-songwriter with any doubt!
It was at a TV station in Manchester UK called Channel m (it's the national football museum now). I was lucky enough to work there when this was recorded
Annedde Blume probably 2008 as the announcer says her album Alas I Cannot Swim is out which was in 2007. At the same there’s songs from her second album though so who knows.
Was the audience instructed to stand as still as possible with their hands at their sides? Lol, I was shocked when the emo mannequins in the background clapped after the first song. It was a great performance, but the setting was so damn weird.
Arjan Loeve First time I saw her was on "From the Basement" singing Your Only Doll (Dora) which she performs beautifully but looks scared shirtless. She was 17 and singing a song way, way beyond her years. That's when I fell in love with her. I've been fortunate to see her nine times live since then.
