I’ve been a Grease superfan since 2008. I’ve seen the movie 7 times, the live TV version 3-4 times and the national tour with Taylor Hicks as Teen Angel. And those costumes just take me back to being a teen. Laura has a gone a long way. But I’m surprised Max hasn’t.
+Addie Ramirez Yes quite the sex kitten. I remember seeing them competing for starring roles on "You're the One That I Want." Max was my favorite, it's hard not to root for an underdog. It's col that Laura's a Midwest gal like myself being from WI and her being from MN.
this is the first time I've seen this. its so weird because this is SOOOO not laura lol! We all knew bonnie was a stretch but hell THIS IS WAY MORE OF ONE. honestly bonnie seems tame compared to this lol! love her its just weird haha!
I'm late, but I doubt you have ever seen the "original" Grease from the 1971 Chicago shows or even the original Broadway cast from 1972. The stage version of Grease is MUCH different than the movie. More explicit, not censored, songs aren't cut like the movie, and songs may differ. I'd say the only thing the movie contributed to the stage version was Hopelessly Devoted, which is no doubt an amazing song and debuted with the movie and not the Broadway version. To give some more insight on the differences, in the stage Grease, Sandy is always American, brunette, and an average girl (not completely innocent like Olivia Newton John's character, just normal.) The stage version does not completely revolve around Sandy and Danny's love story, but the 50's and the problems teens faced as a whole. I hope this information helped even if you got more than you bargained for haha!
+ctn04132 Oh,I really wanted Ashley to win. I thought that she had more charisma. I didn't like that Laura didn't want blonde highlights in her hair to look more like the original Sandy.
+ctn04132 Yes, the original Sandy was blondish. Not bright blonde but with highlights. Anyway, I have nothing against Laura, and I'm happy about her success. And I'm happy Max won the role of Danny!
