I loved that scene as well and I love the chemistry between Carly and Drew but for once I want Carly to stand on her own without depending on a man to solve her problems I want to see her become a strong independent woman who picks herself up and finds herself a new business where she becomes successful all on her own but I do want her to eventually have a romantic relationship with Drew

She did not belong with Jason, either. The two forcing their beautiful friendship into an awkward & frankly, non believable "love" and romantic relationship was wrong. I watched since 2000, that entire time there were two truths that everyone knew, Carly & Sonny were each other's true love/soulmates and Jason & Sam were their true love/soulmates. No one else came close for either couple even though both were with other people through the years, you knew, even that didn't change who their true love was... and forcing Jason & Carly together didn't change that either.

Jason and Carly did not belong together and I'm so glad their wedding night was interrupted. Thank goodness for small favors. Then the writers subjected us to a yearlong grieving process from Britt. Not a peep from his sons Jake and Danny.There reaction and how they managed their grief would have made a good storyline.Jake is 15 and Danny is 10 perfect ages to showcase dealing with the loss of a parent.

Also no funeral for Jason and nobody thought that to be odd I agree the bullshit story of Carly really being in love over sonny and him over Sam that was the most insulting storyline to real fans not puppy love fans they ever came up with Sam was everything to Jason and Carly and will always get back together because they belong together

I think she only backed off because she knows she lied to him and she was feeling guilty… But it will come out eventually and he’s gonna be so mad… I really like their friendship ( just friendship) but I don’t think it’ll last when he finds out the truth

I couldn't have said it better myself little miss Sunny and Carly have belong to each other from the get-go and they need to be put back together again

@@rosehollis9639 I agree. I feel the same way about Jason and Sam. His 2012 “death” was handled correctly by putting his true love at the center of the grief. The 2015 return & recast were handled well in Jason gravitating & falling back in love w/ Sam then they are completely reestablished as a couple by them being remarried & pregnant within a yr. of Jason finding out his identity. So 2 yrs. later and it’s revealed that he isn’t Jason but his twin, suddenly Sam’s torn & eventually does get back w/ Jason, and it’s really Jason except unlike in 2016’s reunion of “JaSam,” not only is there no getting remarried within a year but they’re constantly being forced apart and instead of getting remarried, JaSam are ended entirely. In an out of character move, Sam ends things with Jason over his job & in a move that is too in character with a version of Jason from 2002, he’s choosing Sonny & the mob but not over a budding romance with Elizabeth or his failing marriage to Courtney, this time Jason is choosing his violent & deadly job over his own family just shortly after a hit meant for him nearly killed the son he’d wanted since falling in love with Sam and she is the woman who has loved him & stuck by him. The choice no longer made sense especially when he found out that Sonny & Carly managed on their own when they thought he was dead and even being told by his twin that he was not crisis manager anymore yet he was still a loyal best friend. Jason Morgan was always presented as a great parent and was a Dad w/o a son; a family man with no family. He had his son, a step daughter, and a woman who was wife in all but formality. So sacrificing that for the mob and all that he did in 2021 with Britt and Carly, seeing one of his sons for a minute where he basically waves him off as his son’s wondering what the hell happened to their family then the times he nearly died and then did die doing the same self sacrificing shit very typical of a pre-fatherhood Jason isn’t the heroic death of 2012. 2021 was the year of GH when Frank & Co. had it out for legacy characters and the legacy of the characters.

Thank you so much for everything you wrote.I feel the same way.Jason and Sam are my favorite.We spent years watching Jason and Sam parent,protect,and guide Michael,Kristina,Molly,and Morgan.Sam stood by him at every turn,even after 2006/2007 they found there way back to each other.2018 was the perfect time to see them as a family unit.Not only did we not get to see that,but we were subjected to the worst rewrite and destruction of an iconic lovestory. Sam and Dante are boring and they share too many family members.Plus Sam is the mother of Dante's deceased sister (baby Lila). Carly and Drew are not a good match in my opinion. The writers have destroyed Sonny.IMO there were so many ways this return from Nixon Falls could have been written without total destruction of the Corinthos family.Frank Valentini and his crew were trying to create their own super couples but have failed miserably.Again ,thanks for writing your comments I have felt this way since Dec. 2020 when JaSam separated.

I agree with you except I’m not a big Jason and Sam fan anymore. Sam and Dante storylines are way too boring. Bring LuLu back. Don’t like the Sonny and Nina storylines at all. As you said, they could have done a lot better bringing Sonny back from Nixon Falls without breaking up the family. For one, Sonny making Nina pay for what she did to his family. He is not a wimp, but that’s exactly what they are turning him into, unrecognizable. I’m a Sonny and Carly fan all day, everyday.

@@vickiealston4892 Frank Valentini only likes the characters he created or the couples he put together. The nuJaSam with Billy Miller was something he created so he was fine letting them be happy JaSam but Steve Burton returns and suddenly, JaSam are lucky to share scenes much less get remarried or have another child. What really made me mad was after breaking them up and pairing him with Britt, the storyline was full of aspects and iconic moments that are synonymous with the couple. Moments and things so iconic to JaSam that even the non JaSam fans or their haters see something or hear "Just You & Me" and they know it's a JaSam thing. Frank took out his biggest targets first, JaSam then CarSon and after he got rid of them, he was coming after all of the other popular couples and characters. Late 2020/2021, saw the break up of many couples from JaSam, Lulu & Dante, CarSam, Franco and Liz to start couples the fans were very vocal about not liking or wanting like Carly and Jason, Sam and Dante, Sonny and Nina... or they ruined popular couples like Jason and Britt, after Sonny returned he went back to Britt like she was a sad consolation prize but all of the JaBritt fans I spoke to said that it wasn't the same, it was ruined for them because he left her to marry Carly and by the time he was waiting at the alter, we were told that it was about more than business. Frank's goal is to ruin and get rid of any couples or characters with a legacy or popularity if he can't take total credit thus he offs Jason and then Luke, it would not surprise me if Sonny and Sam wind up dead in the next year or two. The only person who seems safe from Frank's pen is Carly since they've turned the show into the "Carly Corinthos Show. Starring Carly with reoccurring appearances from others."

I only see Ryan Lavery when Cameron Mathison is on screen as Drew. I want Sonny and Carly together. I want Jason back and reunite with Sam.
